Nice place. Bathroom and kitchen really needs a good cleaning. The rest of the place was fine. Nice wrap around deck

There was mold on the room window. Shower area was full of mold. There was dust on surfaces. The floor was dirty with pieces of plants and dead insects. The floor under the mattress was very dusty. A towel was dirty. The room was very humid and the smell was unpleasant.

We had to kill about 20 flies when we first walked in room then while we we doing this we had to clean up cob webs and kill spiders all around the room. The shower had mold on the walls. The room was musty smelling. There was dust every where. We should have left but we're tired from traveling . Complained the next morning about everything all I got was I'm sorry. This was the worst place I have ever stayed in my life

The bad: Moldy nightstands. Cobwebs and dirt in every corner. Sticky/dirty floor. Dried up food pieces were in kitchen cabinets. Baseboards were dirty. Dirty stove hood & controls. The good: the refrigerator, stovetop, shower, sinks, sheets & toilet appear clean. Quiet area, I felt safe there.

Our recent stay was terrible. The rooms were filthy and smelled musty. The sheets had not been changed and the bedding smelled of severe body odour. Sheets had stains, dead bugs, and hair (including *****). The towels were also stained. The floor was covered with a grit. When we went to get new sheets from reception, a staff member was laying on a couch barefoot. Please save your money and don’t stay here.

We stayed for 1 night and it was adequate for a place to sleep. The room size was on a smaller size since we had a king-size bed and they could not position a night table on the other side of the bed because there wasn't enough space. Our luggage sat on top of the night tables because there was no space to park them. The sheets were clean, as well as the shower, which looked updated. In that tiny room, there was a fridge, coffeemaker and microwave. However, we had to go to the office to ask for coffee and an extra pillow. I found an empty water bottle behind the night stand, which speaks of the quality of work of their housekeeping.

Small cottage, I could live with that. The couch looked like something that a bunch of college kids would drag in from the garbage dump. The floors were gritty with dirt, spider webs around, the worst part was the mould in the bathroom. Mould on the shower curtain, mould half way up the wall under the sink.

Our cottage was well kept and well supplied for our visit. It was clean and orderly. The weather wasn’t nice enough to enjoy the deck, but it was pondside and a lovely little propane grill was provided. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. Towels could have been thicker and more were needed - there were three of us. Small bars of soap and shampoo and conditioner satisfied our toiletry needs. The shower was large and there was plenty of hot water. Water pressure was certainly adequate. The kitchenette had a coffeemaker that produced life-giving fluid for all three of us. There were appliances- fridge, microwave, stove, etc. an air conditioner kept us cool and dry for a comfortable nights sleep. Overall, a quaint way to spend one night in Shelburne.
