Tru by Hilton Sharonville Cincinnati

The reception lady at night was a bit rude. Hotel is nice, spacious, and renovated. Too much noise at night from the highway. Breakfast lady was super nice!!

The room was very clean as well as the public areas that we hung out at. I was really impressed with the breakfast. So many choices. Cereal, yogurts, chessey eggs, bacon, pancakes, bagels and more. The staff were really nice too. I'll definitely stay there my next visit to Cincy which will probably be next month.

Pros: Staff was helpful, hotel looked new and was clean and well-maintained. Cons: There's no carpet in rooms so you can hear people above you. If you like a quiet room at night, get ear plugs because the noise from I-75 is loud. Two cars were broken into the night we stayed. Construction next door was inconvenient and an eyesore. We only stayed here bc the Hilton Garden Inn nearby was booked. We wouldn't stay here again.

There are a few basic things I’ve come to expect from a hotel - especially one that charges over $200.00 a night. One is cleanliness and this place was clean. Another is quiet and this place was pretty quiet, although there was a significant amount of road noise from I75. Another is hot water and that is what was definitely missing. I kept expecting the barely lukewarm water to heat up during my morning shower. It never did. Given that, I can’t rate this place higher than poor.

Decent hotel, clean, quiet and we slept well. We could hear highway noise but it didn't affect us. No in room coffee but it was available in the lobby. No drinking cups in the room....had to go to the main floor to get some by the ice machine. We like to play cards in the evening but the table in the room was not conducive. When I checked out the paper I was given did not have the amount I paid nor how I paid....just said "Folio Balance $0.00". Not good for my records!!
