I have never stayed in a Hilton property like this. It is obvious that cleaning, upkeep, and inspections have been neglected for some time. There was a large amount of dust/dirt built up on the carpet near the walls. There were splatters of food and liquid on the doors and walls. There were cobwebs in the corners. The wallpaper is peeling. There was mold all over the bathroom ceiling. The in room coffee station was not stocked. The only thing about this room that let me know I was at a Hilton was the price. I stay exclusively at Hiltons and I have NEVER been to one that looked like this. This was a $50 Motel room, not a $160 Hilton room.

Customer service is wonderful here, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are big and beds were comfy too! Jacob deserves a raise he was so great! We will be back next time we are around. The location is great too close to many food options and close to kings island theme park

The room smelled awful. There were red stains on the base of the bed. The bathroom had literal black mold along the ceiling. The bathroom had urine stains running down the back of the door and brown stains on the floor!! It was unreal. I’ve never seen such an awful room and wouldn’t expect that with a DoubleTree. We got our room refunded and found a much better Hampton Inn down the street.

We used to love staying at this hotel now it is very run down. There is no staff. Took hours to get a remote and bedding for the couch bed. The hotel smelled like POT. Beds were hard as rocks we were supposed to stay 2 nights and left at 3 am on the first night to drive 4 hours back home. My husband and I did not sleep at all. Very disappointing and will NEVER stay again.

Do not stay here. It’s old, run down, and filthy, there’s mold in the bathrooms, bedding is unwashed, place is entirely disgusting. Save yourself- Google newest hotels in the area. We are checking out early. One night is too many nights. I hope they don’t have bugs but no guarantee.

You might as well stay in a Motel 6, you might have a better experience there. This hotel was disgusting. The first room we got wasn’t even ready for us, the bed was unmade and the sheets were balled up on the floor. New room wasn’t much better. The first receptionist we dealt with was practically asleep while talking to me and couldn’t be bothered to greet us when we walked in. Also no cookies were ever offered to us, isn’t that the perk of a Doubletree?? Stairways smelled like pee and had puddles of god knows what in the corners rotting. Room was filthy, hair all over. Sheets didn’t look washed and had little hairs in them, shower had hairs. It felt like their cleaning service never cleaned. I wore socks in the room the whole time because the floors felt nasty and sticky. The bathroom and sink had cracks all in it. There was what looked like a giant booger stuck to the wall next to the toilet. This place is old and run down, not worth the price. I thought Hilton hotels were supposed to be nice. I guess they forgot about this one.

We made an online reservation last Thursday, and arrived at 11:30 pm Friday night. Our room was not ready. The employee apologized, and we were told, “We’re trying to get someone in there to clean it for you. We’re understaffed.” We waited in the lobby for over 30 minutes. When we received our room keys, we were told that someone would be bringing our linens to the room. Once in the room, we found that our king bed was two full beds that had no linen on them. There were long, dark hairs all over the bathtub, with a large clump of hair in the drain. It was evident that the room had not been cleaned, and only had the linens removed for laundering. The hotel security guard arrived with clean linens, which was not part of her job duties. She was just trying to help, but we were not going to pay nearly $300 to stay in an uncleaned room and make the bed ourselves at 12:15 in the morning. We returned to the front desk and asked for a refund. They could not print a confirmation of the cancelled payment, so we disputed the charge to our credit card. We were given the general manager’s business card, but when I called the number, it was for a different person identified as the general manager.
