Hotels Near ONLY in Shanghai

Booked this for my family. It is very close to the train station, so it is convenient to take the bus. I book this hotel for my company every time I go on a business trip. Although the hotel is old, the bedding is hygienic. For people who are not demanding or want to be close to the train station and subway station, it is generally OK in Shanghai. I would like to thank the subway staff at Shanghai Station. Because my family is in a wheelchair, there is no elevator at the exit we want to go, only an escalator. Several staff members at Shanghai Station adjusted the escalator to help me go up. The service at Shanghai Metro Station is really great.

The disable ramp to get into the building is too steep, the lobby is on the 2nd floor with elevator access, the receptionists are friendly and did a very quick job to let us check in. They even told us that we can asked for 2 hours late check out. You can see that the rooms are a bit aged but the overall is still very much acceptable. The shower and the toilet are separated while the sink is just outside of it. The bedding is soft and comfortable. The hotel is just beside the main road but once u close the window, you basically cannot hear the noise from the street. Highly recommended.

The room is very spacious. There are 2 rooms in the chess and card room, each with 2 single beds and a king-size double bed. The toilet has hot water, the air conditioning works well, and there are cleaners to clean the room every day. You can also have breakfast in the hotel restaurant in the morning. The hotel is very close to Shanghai Railway Station (South Square), which is very suitable for travelers who need to take the high-speed rail to and from nearby cities. There are also many restaurants and supermarkets near the hotel where you can buy food and daily necessities. It is very suitable for family travelers to stay

The room is simply decorated and a bit old. The hygiene is average, but the front desk lady is very warm and has a good service attitude. The hotel is in a good location. It is right next to the Shanghai Railway Station. There is a subway station right outside. It is very convenient to travel. It is close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, Jiangtan, Shanghai Natural History Museum, and People's Square. The price-performance ratio is still relatively high, so I stayed for two nights.

Good Hotel. Near Hanzhong Road subway station. The hotel reception is at 6th floor. The rooms are okay size. They dont have a wardrobe in the room for hanging clothes which is inconvenient. Other than that everything is fine.

Location: Extremely convenient. 5 mins walk from Shanghai Main Railway which made it easy for us to take trips out to Hangzhou and Wuxi. Amenities: Lawson and Family Mart just around the corner made it easy to get basic necessities. Being near the railway also gave us easy access to various food options even when it’s late. (highly recommend Yang’s Dumplings) Service: Highly satisfied with the service we received from Jius Hotel staff! We were landing in the wee hours of the morning (earlier than previously planned), hence we made a second booking so that we could catch some rest when we got to the hotel. We kindly requested if the staff could arrange it such that we could have one room for our entire stay. Not only did the staff facilitate our request, but also gave us a complimentary upgrade to 1-Room to make it happen. Room: Absolutely loved our stay at Jius Hotel. Room was huge and had a nice view of Suzhou River. A fun feature that we particularly enjoyed was how the room is smart configured, so you can close the blinds or off the lights entirely by voice control. And after a long day of exploring Shanghai, we always look forward to soaking in our very own jacuzzi. What really stood out for us was how comfortable the pillows are. This is the first time I have experienced such comfortable pillows over a hotel stay, so much so that we tried to ask the staff where the hotel got the pillows from. Overall, our stay at Jius Hotel was such a pleasant and wonderful experience. And for the given hotel rate on Trip.com, it has definitely been a steal for us. Strongly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Shanghai!

Really great hotel, one of the best we stayed in China! Very reasonable price for Shanghai and close to the trains. Very convenient for sightseeing and working as wifi is good. Lots of food options nearby. Rooms are nice, bathroom is good and our towels and stuff got restocked everyday. Owners are very nice and helpful if you need anything. Nice shared space too. Would definitely come back if I come back to Shanghai!

I throughly enjoyed my stay at the St. Regis. I stayed in the manor suite with access to the manor lounge and a private butler. From check in to check out the customer service was excellent. I received the 2 hour Harmonious Relaxation spa treatment at the Iridium Spa in the hotel. It was the most relaxing spa experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to those who enjoy luxury experiences.

Always very pleased to be staying in this hotel. Felt like home away from home. Friendly and welcoming staff from reception, concierge to morning banquet. Exceptional thanks to receptionist Ms 麦田 and Ms 筱义 for their pleasant hospitality and assistance to arrange overseas courier. Overall Hotel cleanliness is good, conveniently located (walking distance to metro station Line2/7/14 Jing’ An Temple Station) and close to The Bund as well. Several malls located in the vicinity as well (Kerry Centre), with plenty of F&B choices.

Really nice hotel. Great location and near a lot of attractions. I found value in staying here due to the convenience of near by attractions but I chose to eat outside of the hotel because the prices are high. The bar drinks were not good and made with very little alcohol and far too much ice. High price as well. There happened to be some famous actor staying at the hotel and security blocked access to a couple floors so I couldn't access the elevator to get to my room after check in so that was really annoying. Eventually I was able to get to the room and it was nice. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. A bit small but nice none the less.
