If you are a nature lover, this hotel is near Sheshan Hill (Line 9 Sheshan Metro Station). They are not as famous as The Bund area, of course, but you will like the Sheshan area if you have the chance and the effort to explore it. We quite frequently stay at this hotel. The location is beautiful, Shishan park and botanical garden in walking (or cycling) distance. Delicious breakfast buffet. One wish is left open, namely that the construction in the park finds an end, so one can enjoy an undisturbed walk around the garden, without being stopped by green fences, blocking the way because of construction area (that never seemed to change much over the last two years anyway....)
