The hotel is in the Zara building, take the elevator on the right inside, go up to the lobby on the 7th floor, which is the same lobby as the GEM Hotel. The staffs are good but cannot communicate in English. It looks like an apartment with shared rooms. The room is a standard size, not too small or too big. There is a washing machine in the room, a refrigerator and a hair dryer. The floor is probably not laminate, so it looks worn out. It was repaired by using Scotch tape. The room I got had a disadvantage: it was near a water pump or some kind of generator that made loud noises when someone was using water or electricity all the time. Beside the location is at the heart of Nanjing road, there is no special reason to book this hotel. It is super convenient to get to the busiest street of Shanghai. For this price, you paying for the location and not for the comfort. Food selection nearby many choices to choose from.

The room was small but perfect, the bathroom was spacious. The bed was comfortable and they provided slippers, a toothbrush, etc. I was very comfortable. They kept my reservation even though I lost the first night when I missed my connecting flight when the flight was delayed.
It is also very well located and despite being on the most commercial street, the hotel is very quiet.
The only thing I would say is that they should provide better directions from the street as to how to access the hotel, as I had to ask. You access it through the Zara building on the left, which has a service entrance and a guard at the door.
In case anyone needs information, they don't speak any English at reception.
