Xike Reserve Hotel

The hotel claims to be a non smoking hotel. However, upon checking in, there were signs of smoking throughout our hotel level - with cigarettes littered in the hallway, strong smoking smell coming from our room and even ashtrays in the corridor and room, which contradicts the hotel's claim. The smell was especially bad in our room that it was difficult to breath properly. We were however unable to change room as there are no spare rooms. Moreover, within our room, we found a clipped toenail from one of the previous person who stayed in that room. Within the room, the amenities are modern such as a toilet with LED lights and mirror with LED lights. Location of the hotel is a 10-15mins walk from the nearby metro with a market for fresh vegetables and small eateries in the neighbourhood. Hard to reach the hotel from metro with luggage as the path is not ideal. Service is somewhat decent as the staffs are accomodating to our requests.
