First time in Shanghai and this place made me feel at home! The room and common areas were very clean. The location was great for getting around Shanghai, whether by walking or taking the metro. Lily and Nannan were very helpful, friendly and patient with me. 10/10 - would definitely recommend!!

The room we chose was a king with a very nice river view.
At the check-in I had to wait for the only person speaking English . At the check-out she was not there so we had to use the little Chinese we know . In a 5 stars hotel you should always have someone speaking English at the reception.
The roof bar is the same room and furniture of the breakfast .
It is fine for breakfast but horrible for a drink.
The breakfast is big but of average quality.
Not the ideal hotel for a romantic staycation.

The room is not big, but it is well-equipped, with a refrigerator, washing machine, and microwave. Two beds, one large and one small, are suitable for a family trip. The hygiene is meticulous and clean, and the sheets and towels are white and new. I stayed for five days, and the cleaning and replenishment of supplies were done every day. Although the breakfast variety is not too much, it is fresh and rich, with both Chinese and Western hot and cold. Tea and coffee are also provided free of charge in the lobby. The staff is of high quality, enthusiastic service, and responsive. The most attractive thing is that it is adjacent to the Binjiang Greenway. You can see the most beautiful night view of the Huangpu River in three minutes on foot. The beautiful Binjiang Greenway is also a great choice for walking, cycling and leisure. It is a certain distance from the bus station and subway station, but it can be completely ignored in terms of beautiful scenery and excellent cost performance. I will come again.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while there were some positive aspects, I must mention a few significant drawbacks. Firstly, the bathroom was incredibly small for two people. It felt cramped, and there was hardly enough space to move around comfortably. To make matters worse, there was a noticeable leak in the bathroom, which was not only inconvenient but also raised concerns about maintenance.
Additionally, the room itself lacked adequate space. With two people sharing it, we felt cramped and had limited room to store our luggage. This made our stay less comfortable than we had hoped for.
Also, there was an unpleasant smell in the room that was hard to ignore. It detracted from the overall experience and made our time in the room less enjoyable.
While the hotel had its merits, these issues with the bathroom size, leak, lack of space, and unpleasant odor were significant drawbacks that affected our overall satisfaction with the stay.

Really nice hotel. Great location and near a lot of attractions. I found value in staying here due to the convenience of near by attractions but I chose to eat outside of the hotel because the prices are high. The bar drinks were not good and made with very little alcohol and far too much ice. High price as well. There happened to be some famous actor staying at the hotel and security blocked access to a couple floors so I couldn't access the elevator to get to my room after check in so that was really annoying. Eventually I was able to get to the room and it was nice. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. A bit small but nice none the less.

There is no evening chocolate with turndown services, always recommended for luxury hotels to treat their gust with value added services.
Wellness was highly poor, there was no one to assist for Steam & Sauna, there is a bell in locker's rooms for assistance but no one to attend calls, tried multiple time during my stay but never work.
Nice GYM but no assistance.
Pool ceiling very dirty, no cleanliness of light diffusors, light panels full of dust.
Foot rinse prior entrance to the pool, wasn't clean too.
Attention must be paid for quality and comfort.

For home stay, they are doing their best , excellent support via WeChat! We stayed in of the 3 story home stay with washing ma home, fresh towels n clean beds. But the finishing and furnishing is a bit dated , when look closely, it’s a bit dusty (our kids have sensitive airways ) but if you are not into all these details! Will still recommend it for family! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

AASLSEnjoyed my stay here very much. The location is very nice and about 20 minutes walk from South Sha'anxi Road metro station. Very bustling area with lots of interesting shops and large malls nearby. Room was a bit small but had everything I needed and was clean with a comfortable shower and bathroom. Staff was very nice and helpful, and could also speak some English. Overall enjoyed my stay and worth the price, and I'd stay here again next time! Thanks!!

Base from my true experiences, I booked here the night before traveling to Shanghai. Once I check out from hotel in Guangzhou, front desk lady help me called reception at Shanghai Novotel Hotel Chuansha to ask if they can pick me and my partner at Pudong Airport as they advertised for a complimentary shuttle bus.
The lady at Novotel cannot speak English so I passed to the front desk lady in Guangzhou and got to know that I have to book a shuttle bus a day ahead. I accepted this because I read info, just have hope if they could help customer with this, anyway I flew to Shanghai and went hotel by myself.
On the way to Shanghai, I still have hope that receptionist at NOVOTEL will be able to speak English. When I arrived there, I met 3 receptionists and NONE OF THEM CAN SPEAK ENGLISH. We had a tough time to communicate. I have my own language and English, also broken Chinese but we still not understand each other. I had to call a friend of mine in Taiwan to speak Chinese to them.
Again, I wanted to book a shuttle bus to Disney land for the next day and they ask me to have a Wechat app to see a detail and communicate. Since I do not have China mainland mobile number so I cannot make a Wechat work on my phone. My ********* friend still help me out with this.
At that time, another lady came, seem like she work for shuttle bus thing. I do understand that Chinese tone of voice always loud but I cannot see mercy on her face. She consisted that we still need a Wechat. One lady there said, I have to take a taxi without Wechat even though the hotel provided us a free shuttle bus to Disneyland. At this point I a little upset as there is no choice that they can call or set me a time for my travel, _ucking asked me to take a taxi. I do not mind to pay for taxi but we have never been here so we worry about other unexpected factor could happen.
Further more, I went there on my girlfriend birthday to celebrate her birthday. I decided to take it here a last minute and I asked if they could have a card written Happy Birthday to her. Only I know is ”NO CARD, NO CARD!!!! bad service mind ever, disappointed and felt give up with Novotel
Yes, I picked NOVOTEL because I really hope they provided international services. I was a member of ACCOR PLUS and experienced such good services but since I experienced here, I am a failure.
I actually have 2 more nights in Shanghai after 2nights here. I was thinking to move out all the time because me and my partner felt suffocate with a service. I do not talk to them anymore as it is useless T___T
I even tried with my broken Chinese but I cannot feel that they put an effort to serve their guesses. No bellboy, air-conditioning at public area is pretty warm.
To be honest, the place is good, bed is comfy and we tired from playing things in Disney land park so I extended to book for one more night then I do not need to rush for checking out. I went reception floor, this time a girl with glasses, seem kind and she is fluent in English help me check in for my last night here :)
Whole time staying here I kept my mouse shut because don't want to feel unpleasant anymore and I feel like the robot that delivery food downstairs is working better than human lol.
Eventually, I did tried until I can log into Wechat to found that the text were written in Chinese only. I still can travel with a hotel shuttle bus even I do not read thing on Wechat (我看不懂) 😔 I definitely won't be back here even things are good.
Hotel is providing everything we needed which is good but they should hire people who able to speak English or people who able to use translate on google and else to communicate as they open for the whole world guess. Not only Chinese on earth but also another language exists. Last thing, key of hospitality is ”SERVICE MIND”

Unable to travel over the festive season, I decided to treat myself to a few days in a local hotel. What other choice was there, other than the Bvlgari?
Prior to my arrival I received a call from the hotel. They confirmed my arrival time, made dinner reservations for me, added me to WeChat and offered me any other help that I required.
Upon arrival I was greeted by Eva. She checked me in and immediately offered me a late check out time of 14:00. This was extended further on the final day to 16:00. Fantastic! More time to relax by the pool and in the sauna.
Having checked me in, Eva gave me a tour of the property. The Bvlgari is stunning!From the stylish restoration of the Chamber of Commerce building to the sleek, modern interior of the main building.
The Bvlgari is located in an excellent position by Suzhou Creek. It offers dazzling views of Lujiazui , the Huangpu River and the rear of The Bund. Perhaps one of the best views in the city.
Of course, the room was magnificent. Huge TV, super comfortable bed, walk-in wardrobe and a wide selection of drinks and snacks, most of which were complimentary. I especially thought the pillow mist was a nice touch.
In addition to the welcome snacks, Eva brought me a desert from their little cabin outside. A delicious Italian, vanilla donut- like desert. Good job I didn’t have lunch that day.
I dined at both the Italian and Chinese restaurants. Both of which offer amazing food.
The Italian presents simplistic fare with the emphasis on fresh ingredients. The vegetable broth and specialty bread is to die for.
The Chinese restaurant offers high quality Cantonese food and an alternative wine selection to that in the main building.
The sommelier suggested a great wine pairing for the meal and also provided a complimentary glass of champagne and a coffee liqueur before escorting back to the hotel.
Le Mer products are used in the spa! Yes, this is fantastic. My therapist, Daisy, had me in the state of being between consciousness and unconsciousness many times during the course of my treatment. Just what I was looking for.
The staff at the Bvlgari are excellent. Young, professional and obviously well trained, evident through their subject knowledge and warm hearted service.
All the staff consistently addressed me by name and ensured that my stay was perfect.
Whilst at the bar, one of the girls presumed I was asking for the bill, when actually I was asking for another drink. I left to visit the WC and returned to find a note apologizing for her misunderstanding of English accompanying a complimentary desert with my drink. That was amazing! Thank you, Elsker.
It’s often the small things that make a difference. Whilst walking to my room one of the room attendants was vacuuming the carpet. She abruptly stopped and waited for me to pass. Whilst at the pool, I headed towards the jacuzzi. Some of the staff appeared to be fixing or checking something, but they swiftly disappeared as I emerged.
Upon checkout, Eva was waiting for me with a gift bag containing chocolates. This was in addition to the luggage tags and toiletries that were gifted by the turn down service the previous night. Eva called me a car to take me home. Whilst I waited she filled my gift bag with sweets from the huge jars of confectionery in the lobby. As the doorman approached to let me know my car had arrived, he also presented a small gift of Bvlgari toiletry products.
What an amazing experience.! Truly remarkable.
I will definitely return and I’ll be adding locations in Paris, London, Bali and Milan to my list of places to visit.

LLea PajarilloWe are a family of four with 2 kids. For us adults, it's been a while since we had a spa experience and The Senz reminded us how relaxing it is. Our kids enjoyed the swimming pool, it was big and clean. The food choices are all yummy. All the staff, especially the Filipino staff are all accommodating and very gracious. Overall, it's a staycation worth visiting again very soon.

DDKWThe hotel’s location is very convenient for anyone who wants to fly out from Hongqiao airport; it only takes a few minutes to walk over there.
The service provided is very good. Essentials such as Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided. I booked a room with breakfast included, which was a great choice. The breakfast buffet has tons of options to choose from.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Srui Tong arranged found a room with a window for my stay. The room is very clean and quiet ; Two complimentary bottle water are provided.
I had a nice stay, will be back soon.

TTrippin’Great experience from check in to check out.. Breakfast buffet available. Great fitness, spa, and swimming pool area that all opens at 8a (late for a fitness area since we like early morning workouts). The from desk staff very organized and accommodating. Room service and other dining options throughout the day available. Perfect location to walk to the Jing’An area and even Kerry Centre. Easy pick up cabins for meituan. Will stay again if I make another appointment.

EEdwardThe rooms are spacious but need better cleaning and soundproofing. Noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms was quite disruptive. The design of the open-concept toilet is problematic; the drain system causes unpleasant odors, and the water basin is too close to the bed. Check-in was smooth, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Ms. Wang Lou, the duty manager, who was exceptionally efficient and polite, promptly resolving all our concerns. With improvements in cleanliness and soundproofing, this hotel has the potential to offer an excellent experience for its guests.

Extremely convenient. 5 mins walk from Shanghai Main Railway which made it easy for us to take trips out to Hangzhou and Wuxi.
Amenities:
Lawson and Family Mart just around the corner made it easy to get basic necessities. Being near the railway also gave us easy access to various food options even when it’s late. (highly recommend Yang’s Dumplings)
Service:
Highly satisfied with the service we received from Jius Hotel staff! We were landing in the wee hours of the morning (earlier than previously planned), hence we made a second booking so that we could catch some rest when we got to the hotel. We kindly requested if the staff could arrange it such that we could have one room for our entire stay. Not only did the staff facilitate our request, but also gave us a complimentary upgrade to 1-Room to make it happen.
Room:
Absolutely loved our stay at Jius Hotel. Room was huge and had a nice view of Suzhou River. A fun feature that we particularly enjoyed was how the room is smart configured, so you can close the blinds or off the lights entirely by voice control. And after a long day of exploring Shanghai, we always look forward to soaking in our very own jacuzzi. What really stood out for us was how comfortable the pillows are. This is the first time I have experienced such comfortable pillows over a hotel stay, so much so that we tried to ask the staff where the hotel got the pillows from.
Overall, our stay at Jius Hotel was such a pleasant and wonderful experience. And for the given hotel rate on Trip.com, it has definitely been a steal for us. Strongly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Shanghai!
