Wunderschönes Hostel mit toller Atmosphäre! Liebvoll restauriert und alle Räume unterschiedlich gestaltet. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Es gab sogar eine Sauna, hatten es aber nicht geschafft, diese zu nutzen.

Idée originale : une auberge de jeunesse dans un vieil hôpital. Les plus : la déco vintage, la grande cuisine très bien équipée et le concept de free food et le sauna Les moins : douches au sous-sol, une seule machine à laver le linge, murs en papier à cigarettes et escalier très bruyant. Pas évident si vous avez le sommeil léger.

Building storico in questo splendido paesino affacciato sul grande fiordo. Ex ospedale riadattato a guest house, con bagni e cucina condivisi. Zone comuni e stanze ampie e pulite. Tutto gestito molto bene. Siamo stati molto bene. Non è un ostello da backpackers, ma una normale guesthouse con un suo preciso charme.

Kleines, ruhiges, liebevoll geführtes Hostel mit traumhaftem Blick auf den Fjord. Großzügige Gemeinschaftsräume, . gut ausgestattete Küche, sauberes Gemeinschaftsbad, Fahrradverleih, gutes Wifi. Ein Ort zum gerne Wiederkommen!

Me hubiese gustado opinar sobre este alojamiento.No puedo.Lo pagué pero no me alojé.El día previo a mi alojamiento en el hotel hubo alerta amarilla por vientos de 120-125 km/h y nieve.Intentamos avanzar en el viaje pero cierran TODAS las carreteras de la costa este a lo largo de la tarde,entre ellas la que llega a este alojamiento.Envié sobre 17pm ,con carretera ya cerrada, un mensaje al hotel,silencio.2h más tarde le solicito reembolso por causa meteorologica mayor.Silencio.Al día siguiente a las 8am ,sigue cerrada y nosotros, muy lejos ,nos vemos obligados a pagar otro hotel buscado con prisa y en carretera abierta.Sobre 11am,contesta al mensaje,justo cuando vuelven a abrir carretera.Le indico mi situacion ,con doble pago y se niega al reembolso,poque ya está abierta.....perdón ,creo que falta honestidad en esta transacción.Muy sospechosamente lentos para contesar mientras estaba carretera cerrada y muy rápidos para decirme que no me devolvían el importe,una vez abierta,sabiendo que ya no podíamos llegar. SOSPECHOSO,como poco.

We booked the apartment which was very spacious, could easily accommodate 4 with a fold out sofa as well as a double bed. Included our own kitchen and bathroom facilities. The apartment was light and airy, private and had a lovely feel. Shower fitting a bit dodgy and some early morning heavy footed stomping, but to be expedited in a hostel and an older style building. Certainly not enough to put us off staying again. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the vibe of both the hostel and the whole town was very positive. Some excellent hiking directly from town into the surrounding hills.

Perfect place to visit East Iceland, in a nice city by the sea. The hostel is equipped with an excellent kitchen and nice amenities. The personnel is very nice, and so is the building. Also, perfectly located in the town center.

Having not done a lot of hosteling, this place was great. It was my 87yo Dad and I traveling and we took one room with 2 beds which was fine. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s plants of room for your personal things in the refrigerator and numbered bins for other food. We stayed here just prior to a sail on the smyril line to Faroe Islands and Denmark. It was great!

Very nice little guesthouse in thebeasyfjords of iceland, breathtaking views. Everything was clean and tidy, there is a nice well equipped kitchen, washing machine and sauna!! Really recommend this place.
