"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel North in Seward! It was the perfect spot for our visit—comfortable, charming, in a great location, and a good value. The hotel has such a nice boutique feel, and we really enjoyed all the amenities of our suite. Having the kitchenette was handy and adds more to the stay than a standard hotel. What really made our stay special, though, was Misty. She was wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Her thoughtfulness, responsiveness, and genuine hospitality made us feel so welcome and truly added to our experience. We would definitely stay at Hotel North again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seward!"

"The room is big with basic amenities. Location is quite good as it’s just at a free shuttle stop. It’s May in Alaska, so a small fan heater is not enough to warm us up. Luckily the bed is very comfy n the blankets keep us warm during the night."

There is a safeway supermarket nearby. You can buy ingredients to cook in the apartment, and overall it is highly recommended."

"Really amazing place to stay. We traveled back and forth from Anchorage and stayed in three different rooms. Every single time the rooms were super clean and we were able to relax. We would 100.% stay here again when we come back to Seward. The host is extremely fast to respond to emails or texts. Also perfect walking distance to the water and to restaurants. Thank you Hotel North for making our first time to Seward so peaceful!"

"We stayed at this property for 3 nights in a one bedroom apartment. The building dates from 1903 and has been extended extensively since then. The apartment was quite large but is an older renovation. Kitchen probably last updated in the 1960's. The bathroom probably only 10 years ago. Ok so step back in time. The heating is from radiators that take up to 3 hrs to come on. Not joking. The radiator in the bedroom had the valve broken on. So it would heat up randomly. With it getting red hot at 2am. Only cleaners on site. No other staff. You need to be reasonably fit to haul your suitcases up the stairs. Parking at the front door was good."

"This is a very old family-run inn. You enter with a key, not a card. The rooms are rather small. Aside from that, it's very clean, and the furniture and decorations are very antique. The lobby displays many specimens of wild animals. The elderly lady in the lobby is very kind. There's a very popular restaurant downstairs next door; you can hear the hearty laughter of the guests inside just by opening the window (but you can't hear it at all when the window is closed). Overall, the stay was great! Parking is also very convenient."
