AC Hotel Ciudad de Sevilla

A most attractive and well located hotel. Breakfast service is very good. Unfortunately the staff is poorly managed and we had a number of unpleasant moments - Room not serviced until evening and we had to ask and there was no apology, bar staff aloof, poor communication re invoices. These issues may relate to current staff relations, so I would still recommend this comfortable hotel.

We just returned from a 5 night stay at this property. It has a quiet pool on the roof and a nice outdoor terrace area where you can enjoy a drink and food. We. booked one of their suites (room 295) which was spacious but shows signs of wear and tear. I believe it was the second best suite they had available. The room itself had a fridge, safe, wardrobe, ironing board, sofa, big bed, TV, AC and a spacious bathroom with a double shower that could easily fit 3 or 4 people. The hotel needs upgrading but it's adequate. The light switches moved when you touched them and there are cracks and plenty of patched up work visible throughout the room and property. The staff were nice, welcoming, particularly Rachel in the restaurant who was very pleasant, welcoming, informative and chatty. We really liked her customer service and friendly demeanour. There was also a very helpful chap that worked on the front desk who's name escapes me. He wore glasses and a waistcoat. He was incredibly helpful and exhibited the customer service i've come to expect from Marriott. The property is 15mins from the airport and about the same from the city centre. You can hop on a bus from outside that takes you to the city centre and the tourist attractions. Hopefully the property get a facelift and some upgrades to return it to it's previous gleaming glory days as the patched up work that has been done over the years is visible in the rooms and around the property (see some photos).
