Great location to stay with hood food and service.
Do not book there through trip.com as they advised trip.Com piggy backs on other companies and gives you good rates but not for the upper quality room you supposedly book. We were advised the Inn was trying to get away from trip.Com so customers and them are not caught by this issue and trip.Com then does not receive calls in English to review this with them.

Heard good things about Christie's Mill Inn & Spa with The Waterfront restaurant attached to the resort hotel. Check in was a breeze of fresh air. Front Desk MYYA was very helpful and kind. Placed us in a GREAT waterfront walkout suite with a patio comfy chairs, dock area for fishing and watching nature and sweet sights including amazing Yachts and Trent Canal system. Everything needed in walking distance parks, LCBO, food, dining etc. Maintenance Mack, Mason, Owen keep the resort running smooth and functional. Enjoyed indoor pool and hot tub area. Barrel cedar sauna woodfired by the waters edge nice touch. Cathy our breakfast server and morning greeter was awesome great coffee and am eats! Swimming area and beach raked daily jumping off the dock with ladder after sauna EXHILARATING! Comfy bed and linens. Housekeeper Sandra great work and kept us tidy and stocked with nice toiletries, coffee and fluffy towels even made our bed ! Enjoyed the outdoor beach games fun in the sun and fire pit with big Muskoka chairs for fireside star gazing and marshmallows/ wiener roasting. The grounds are well kept and lots of places to explore and relax. Dinner.....our servers Ashley and Sarah with a smile excellent. Chef Larry and The Waterfront restaurant culinary crew Cheers to you all. Mighty fine meal ! Live entertainment was a added bonus. A duet played and sang great tunes even had a after dinner sing along drink and dance. Jordan the Barman makes a truly tasty Manhattan! Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Greg pleasant and welcoming. We will return GOOD TIMES! Cheers :)

NOTE : On DAY OF CHECK OUT, after you leave your room at 11am YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE THE BEACH, Docks or Waterfront area. You can eat in the restaurant and book a spa treatment NOTHING ELSE! It is not mentioned on the website!! All the hotels we have stayed allow the guests to enjoy the remainder of day. NOT HERE!! Keep that in mind when booking one night!! Now, the water was weedy, the sauna smoky, lots of goose droppings, so thankfully we only booked for one night. On a good note, the young staff do an incredible job despite their working conditions and their boss. They really are lovely. The chef makes amazing food, and delicious fries. The other guests at the hotel were a lot of fun to be around. I think once new management takes over they may be able to turn this around. It is for sale.

Sad. - Motel-grade rooms - Pool and hot tub hardware not working (cold pool, room temp hot tub) - Sauna back-fills with smoke - Unusable beech (not cleared of goose feces) - Weak wifi - Sketchy up-charges, changes - Attitude from one or two front desk staff to various guests (our party and others) Shout-out to staff like Owen and Cathy, hustling to deliver value.

Went with my wife for a weekend getaway. It's a nice quiet place on the water. There are non motorized water vehicles to use and a nice little beach. Be aware though there is a lot of seaweed in the water. Came to play some tennis also, but was disappointed the courts were not in the best condition, hope they can get renovated in the future!

We were looking forward to great meal with friends. We ordered 4 meals, 3 arrived and 4th arrived after others finished meals. :( The lamb & particular wine ....NOT available...disappointing. Meals mediocre We like to support local eateries

Very pricey place $264.69 then they charge your credit card another $250 which will be reimbursed eventually $25 for incidentals 🤔 We didn’t use anything or eat as dining room was pricey too. Only thing we did was walk on beach but had to stop from all the bird poop which got on my shoe, sand not raked We just came for overnight, checkin time is 4 🙄 luckily I could get in at 3 after long drive from blind river We stayed in many hotels on trip & they were awesome & prices around $150 mark No end table for my side of bed so couldn’t put things near by just on floor Not enough plug outlets or any usb chargers, good thing we brought a cable Will never go here again sadly This hotel will definitely be a first to go digital id 🥲 Staff was friendly, only good point

Booked a Queen Balcony with Property View room. Room given had no balcony, just a window with a view completely obstructed by roof mechanicals and cheap wooden screening. Was given room 75 minutes after their posted check-in time of 4pm although I arrived at 2:30pm. Basic bathroom, none of the amenities posted on their site for Queen bed rooms, definitely not spacious either. Front desk was dismissive. Spa service booked was cancelled by facility within an hour of the service as they did not have Qualified staff on duty.
