"It was a clean and beautifully designed hotel. Having a full range of cooking utensils was a huge plus in expensive France. It's a little far from Disneyland, but there are several free shuttle buses running throughout the day, so it's not a problem at all."

"Amazing, that's all I can say. I've never encountered a hotel with such excellent service; it was truly outstanding. The breakfast also looked great, even though I didn't get a chance to eat there."

Hôtel AKENA Serris - Val d'Europe

Hôtel AKENA Serris - Val d'Europe

📍 13 Imp. Dorothée Le Maître, Serris
★★★★ 8.5 (45 reviews)

"The air conditioner is a Daikin, but it's not adjustable, effectively useless. The room always displays 22°C, regardless of whether it feels like 16°C or 30°C. A four-star hotel room has no furniture (tragic), let alone a coffee maker... and no refrigerator. The shower water is 30°C and gets colder with each shower. Absolutely eco-friendly (🙄). The front desk is incredibly helpful, with the only exceptions being the 10€ parking fee (if it weren't for car safety concerns, I'd definitely not park downstairs; the parking lot is completely useless, with many French guests parking right outside the hotel complex) and the city tax. A three-star hotel (the room is decently sized, considering the empty room seems incredibly spacious). Never again."

Aparthotel Adagio Serris - Val d'Europe

Aparthotel Adagio Serris - Val d'Europe

📍 18 Cr de l'Elbe, Serris
★★★ 8.3 (284 reviews)

"Facilities: Equipped with a kitchen, and a shuttle bus to Disneyland is available downstairs. Breakfast was quite basic. Cleanliness: It didn't seem like the room had been tidied up, even though I only stayed for one night. Location: It's just over a kilometer from Disneyland, but the surrounding area feels quite remote. A taxi to the airport cost approximately 50 euros. Service: The service was standard."

"The hotel was in a pretty good location. East to get to Disneyland and easy to get to the village for outlet shopping. I am very happy with the service rendered by Alex at front desk. He had been extremely helpful. Unfortunately, I could have left a jacket and my toiletry pouch there. Any chance of a retrieval?"

"It was absolutely beautiful and wonderful. We were also able to use the round-trip shuttle bus to Disneyland Paris for free. There were several buses even after closing time, so we were able to enjoy the final show."

"Perfect for my solo trip to Disneyland. There's a free shuttle, but I walked to the park, it takes about 15 mins. I didn't use the room facilities, I just ate in the park, but they looks great. Bed was very comfortable, bath was lovely and deep. Overall a great stay!"

"Here’s the review with that point naturally incorporated: Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant stay, and I would not recommend this property. The self check-in process is unnecessarily complicated. The instructions initially direct you to a different side of the apartment building, which is confusing. Unless you read them very carefully, it’s easy to spend at least 30 minutes just trying to check in. Between accessing the building, collecting the keys, entering the apartment, retrieving the car park fob from the kitchen, and finally getting to the parking area, you end up opening around 6–8 different doors before you’re fully checked in. It is far more complicated than it needs to be. The underground parking is secure, but it is very dark, has a strong unpleasant smell, and many of the surrounding parking spaces appear to be used as storage areas, giving the whole area an untidy feel. Inside the apartment, the linen was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the main bed was acceptable. However, the sofas were heavily worn, stained, and looked dirty. The sofas shown in the listing photos appear clean, tidy, and in good condition, but they do not reflect the actual condition of the furniture provided. The listing also suggested the apartment was suitable for three adults and children, but the sleeping arrangements don’t realistically support that. The sofa bed is very worn, and the single sofa bed isn’t suitable for either adults or children. Before arriving, I contacted the host to request fans as there was a heatwave forecast. I received no response. The apartment became extremely hot, and with no fans or any form of ventilation, it was very difficult to sleep. Travelling with young children made this even more challenging. There are also several maintenance issues. The toilet door handles are very stiff, the wardrobe doors are difficult to operate, and the bedroom has no main light—only bedside lamps. The only convenient power socket is occupied by the bedside lamp, so if you need to charge your phone, you have to unplug the lamp and leave the room without lighting. The hallways throughout the building also have a persistent unpleasant smell. The biggest issue occurred on the morning of checkout. At around 8:30 am, the water supply stopped completely. We were unable to shower, wash properly, or get ourselves and the children ready before leaving. I contacted the property immediately but was simply told to send an email and wait up to six hours for a response, which was completely impractical given we were checking out that morning. I then contacted Trip.com customer service, who responded immediately and genuinely tried to help by contacting the property. Unfortunately, the property management never responded to them either, leaving customer service with very few options other than offering a small compensation. While I appreciated Trip.com’s prompt support, it did not resolve the situation. Having to end a family holiday without running water and without being able to take a shower is simply unacceptable. Overall, while the apartment has a few positives such as secure parking, clean linen, and a functional kitchen, these were outweighed by misleading listing photos, poor communication from the host, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, inadequate facilities during a heatwave, maintenance issues, and the complete lack of support when a major issue occurred. I would not recommend this property. The only positive experience was Trip.com’s customer service, who responded promptly and did their best to assist despite the property’s lack of cooperation."
