Prima resort voor Afrika. Mooi aangelegd. Vriendelijk personeel. Zwembad en de zee ter beschikking. Kamers prima, wel volgens Afrikaanse begrippen. Het eten kàn beter. Maar wij vonden het goed genoeg. Het was heerlijk om in het voorjaar verzekerd te zijn van de zon. Ousman Trawally was vooral erg beleefd en bijzonder correct.

Heerlijke zon, zee, zwembad vakantie gehad! Fijne plek. Ousman Trawally was super vriendelijk en heeft onze vakantie extra goed verzorgd. Prettig personeel. Mooie locatie. Eten kan iets beter gevarieerd worden voor de Europese toeristen.

Prima hotel in Serekunda. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, goeie bar met ruime keuze. Ontbijt is gevarieerd, diner is zeer gevarieerd. Direct aan tegenover het hotel is de "Taxi-control" zodat je erg eenvoudig een taxi kunt laten komen. Erg fijn verblijf gehad.

Kalimba is a great hotel to go to for your holiday, the people are very nice and can provide with whatever you need, everyone talks to you, asks your name, just great. The food is good and the chef in the kitchen Assan Jallow cooks great food and made satesaus for us, wonderfull. Our room was cleaned every day perfectly by Lamin Samba, he takes care of everything you need. Overall a great place to visit. Corendon has som nice excursions with local people.

Lovely authentic hotel in African style, located right on the beach, with a private swimming pool right in front of your room. The friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff is exceptional, everything is done to ensure you have a great holiday, even playing ping-pong with you if necessary ;-) The rooms are clean and if you need anything or have a problem, it is immediately arranged by the very friendly supervisor Max who helped us very much in all areas during our stay. Thank you!! Garden chef Sunny invited us for bird watching and spontaneously brought us a freshly picked coconut with a straw at the pool. And thanks to Chef Basiru we were spoiled with a varied and extensive buffet full of delicious African and European dishes, sometimes served on the beach with BBQ and accompanied by drums and dancers. And what a delicious breakfast with omelette, pancakes, fresh fruit, cake, fruit juices... Yum... The kitchen is highly recommended! Ideal place to relax and get a taste of the cheerful African culture, where everyone will do the impossible for you with a lot of humor. We also felt very safe and hospitable everywhere on the beach and in the nice restaurants and shops near Serekunda. See you next year!

The People are really nice, very friendly. My family and I stayed here for a week. Actually I can write this review in dutch because everyone was from Holland but that is because of the contract with Corendon that this hotel has. The food was also delicious. I am very happy to see that they don't waste food, but please keep add the snacks! Thank you for this experience

Me and my friend had a lovely one week holiday. The hotel looks like a fancy resort with beautiful trees and is perfect to relax. The food is a good mix between local and for tourist. Every night there is staff cooking something fresh, which was our favorite. The staff is very friendly, especially Lamin Samba and Mbakeh made our holiday complete by taking good care of us. Absolutely recommending this resort!

A beautiful hotel with lovely, friendly staff. Our room was kept beautifully clean by Lamin Samba. He is a very polite young man. Because the restaurant was closed during our stay, we ate all our meals at the neighboring hotel. The staff that were at the Kalimba were very friendly and accomodating.

Our special thanks go to Lamin Samba who cleaned our room every day and provided fresh towels. He also did a lot more extra, just take a look at the photos. We also lacked for nothing at the bar. Yassin ***e is an excellent hostess/waitress who provided us with the tastiest cocktails. The local staff is very reliable, it's a pity that the hostess of CorenDon wanted us to believe otherwise during the information morning. The so-called Locals are all super friendly and trustworthy. We had a taxi driver who we could call all week and who took us to various sights. It is wise to take a local with you to the Market as a companion, in our case this was the taxi driver. What a wonderful resort, this hotel has plenty of swimming facilities and plenty of sun loungers. The a la carte restaurant is also recommended. We will definitely come back here again! Thank you dear people.
