Ekonomy Hotel Myeongdong Premier

I was having trouble this weekend because all the hotels in the area were quite expensive (especially in Myeongdong, it's quite expensive except for guesthouses with shared rooms), but I thought this price for a private room in Myeongdong was cheap, so I booked it. I arrived late at night, but they left a paper and card key at the reception so I was able to get in! The shower and toilet are shared, but it's not a problem if you're traveling alone, the location is good, and they also left my luggage for me after I checked out, which was very helpful! Overall I'm satisfied!

I stayed at this hotel once before COVID-19, and it was located right in the middle of Myeongdong, so I used it because it was easy to find. It is located opposite Odarijip and Savoy Hotel. It is close to exits 5 and 6 of Myeongdong Station, so the best thing about it is that you can drop off your luggage or take a short rest before going out again! Shampoo, treatment, and body soap are provided, and toothpaste and toothbrushes are available for free at the front desk. There were three bottles of water in the refrigerator in the room. There was also a free coffee machine and water server in the common area. As other people have said in their reviews, the air conditioner suddenly made a loud noise several times, which surprised me. Since the room faced the main street, the noise from outside continued until around midnight, so it may be a concern for some people. However, it was not so annoying. If you are bothered by it, I think it is better to bring earplugs. The toilet has a trash can and is not flushable. The shower and toilet are in the same space, so I think it is acceptable to get wet. There are slippers, so you can use the toilet without any problems even if the bottom is wet. The only thing that bothered me was the moldy smell in the bathroom. I recommend leaving the exhaust fan on to deal with this. Also, the walls were thin, so I could hear the coughing and snoring of the person in the next room. When I checked out, I was able to leave my luggage and was given a voucher. When I went to collect it, there was no staff there, so I rang the bell but there was no response, so I waited for about 10 minutes, and then they came back and apologized many times, saying, "I'm sorry, I kept you waiting, didn't I?" They responded immediately afterwards, and I felt that the staff were kind and polite. There was also a scale to measure the weight of your suitcase, so you can check it before going to the airport. Overall, I would like to use this hotel again next time.

The location is very good and very convenient. What a great stay. There is a convenience store opposite. It's also considered clean. But the soundproofing is a bit poor. But it's acceptable. But the room type I booked did not have enough space to open the entire suitcase. But if the price is better, I will stay again

We went there during the long weekend in October. We usually stay at the Savoy Hotel, but the prices had gone up, so we decided to make a compromise and stay at a budget hotel. It was clean for this type of hotel. There were no chairs or anywhere to put small items. You couldn't flush the toilet paper, you had to throw it in the trash can. The shower and toilet were in the same space, and it was narrow, so water got into the trash can. We used it with a disposable shower cap on. The most annoying thing was the thinness of the walls. You could hear the neighbors' conversations, and even the sound of the doorbell ringing. There were groups on both sides of our room, so they kept ringing the doorbell and going back and forth and talking until late at night, and we couldn't sleep. We made the decision to just sleep, but we ended up not getting enough sleep. We regret that we should have booked a higher-quality hotel, even if it was more expensive.

I stayed here last time and the location and price were both good, so I'll do it again this time! [Amenities] Towels (bath towels and face towels), hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toilet paper (spare), hangers, box tissues, etc. were in the room, but you have to take as much toothpaste and toothbrush as you need from the reception. Personally, I go to my favorite restaurant outside for meals, so I only use the room for showering and sleeping. It's very reasonable, so I'll use it again when I go to Myeongdong (^-^)
