Spent three nights at Cafe Wayan Cottages. A simple place, but comfortable enough for two of us. Positives: good price, breakfast included, freeflow tea/coffee/water, small pool Negatives: Wi-Fi not the best; water for shower never really got hotter than lukewarm. Found Senggigi quite limiting though. Not a great deal going on there.

Joli petit hôtel, chambre spacieuse et literie confortable, calme. Personnel très sympa et serviable. Excellent petit déjeuner. Juste la route à traverser pour aller voir le magnifique coucher de soleil sur la plage et manger.

The hotel itself is great. Nice spacious rooms, balcony and a nice pool. The staff is also very kind and friendly. I picked it because of location and being midway between different areas on the island which is good. And you can't beat the price. The beach in this area is not clean. FYI. So, you will need to plan to spend money on traveling. But, is not so good for early risers! FYI! There is no coffee or tea at the cottage or anywhere nearby early in the morning. No one arrives till after 7am. There are not many restaurants nearby generally. Also, FYI the internet did not work in my room. It could have just been the location of my room on the premises, but I could only use it in the lobby area.
