Hotels Near Ishibashiya in Sendai

The hotel is located just a few minutes by walking behind the main station and there are a lot of yummy food stores along the way & at the station so we never stayed hungry. There was a lot of road works during the time we were there so it’s a bit inconvenient but apart from that the room was at decent size & very clean. If you arrive early than standard check-in time, do a little walk around the city center and come back a little before the time so that you may avoid the queue when everyone shows up at said time.

I love this hotel so much. Room is super spacious and love the scent of this hotel once you step into this hotel. Walking distance to many places such as Sendai Morning Market , donki donki, Japanese local restaurants and Sendai Station ( a bit far ) If you didn’t book breakfast here is fine too, there are some restaurant nearby early in the morning for English Breakfast or to go. We drove our car here , however you need to pay JPY 1500 per day to park your car. Reception is at 26th floor so once you park your car you need to take lift to lobby and from lobby take another lift to reception check in.

I’ve stayed in many budget and business hotels in Japan. This was by far my worst experience. I stayed for several days to attend a conference nearby. The price was reasonable and location was close to subway and central city. There must be better options in this area and price range. Consider this a last resort hotel when bookings aren’t available elsewhere. Service was poor by Japanese standards. Rooms were run down and in dire need of renovations, it smelled a lot of cigarettes, especially if you opened the window. Walls were thin and it was difficult to sleep with noisy neighbours and firm uncomfortable bedding. A breakfast service is available but I don’t recommend this, the food available is limited and lacks the usual continental options or local specialties typical for Japanese hotels. I communicated with staff almost entirely in Japanese and I’m not sure they are able to accommodate foreign tourists who cannot. For these reasons I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you are visiting Japan from abroad.

The official site description is only lies. The location may be good, but even if it is a cheap hotel, it is a price if you consider the content of the service and the quality of the hotel. There are some wifi, but it is stressed because it is cut many times during use. The note in the room also contains Japanese and English, but only Japanese and Chinese were ”Please don't open the door and talk to your neighbor”. This is that the Chinese are doing bad things. The fact that there are many Chinese was very worried about mites. In addition, the sound of patchy from the ceiling is heard in the middle of the night. It was so much that I thought it would come out even if it was a ghost. The breakfast is also a substitute that cannot be said to be very delicious. It was the level that it was to fill the stomach for the time being. In addition, there is no person at the front desk if you want to check out. Waited for a long 々 and was not in time for the train. Businessmen should not use this hotel. There is a hindrance to work.

The Onyado Nono is the Japanese style hotels among the Dormy Inn chain. The one at Sendai is newly opened and I stayed for two nights at a Moderate Queen Room which is a good size for 1-2 persons by Japanese standard. Room is spotlessly clean and close to Sendai station. The onsen is lovely after long day of sightseeing and the free ramen midnight snack is a wonderful bonus. All in all this is a hotel which I would recommend to anyone.

Welcome coffee and morning coffee are free. Both are paper cups so you can take them to your room. Breakfast can be eaten for 500 yen. Pajamas are the style you bring yourself from the first floor. It is not in the room so you need to pick it up after check-in. Also, the room was clean and functional. It was comfortable to sleep in. The desk was small but had a light. The mirror is only in the bathroom, so makeup needs to be made in the bathroom or the mirror you brought.

The water pressure in the shower is strong and weak, and it becomes stressful because the momentum becomes strong or weak. The hotel is not far from the station and is also very close to the lively shopping street. Food and accommodation are very convenient. However, the hotel sign is not very conspicuous and it is easy to miss it when passing by. The reception hall is on the 7th floor of the hotel and you need to change to the elevator to get there. The guest room is not large. Toiletries are available in the lobby. There is a large bath on the top floor that guests can use for free. Overall, it is not bad!

KOKO should have acquired many hotels of other brands and changed them to their own management model. There are two hotels near Sendai Station. One is located in the west of Sendai Station, a few minutes' walk away, but the building is older. The style inside is **** yellow, a bit like the decoration of Chinese homes in the 70s and 80s. The interior of this hotel is black, more like the Ginza store, but the building may be older. The location is very good, close to Aoba Street, with a park next to it. It is about 1.6km to Sendai Station by foot. There are barrier-free roads throughout the journey, so it is not a big problem even if you push the suitcase out of Sendai Station. The Japanese are a bit rigid in doing things. I arrived at 2:30, and there was a room, but I still asked the customer to wait until 3 o'clock to check in. Later, I don't know why I got it right again, and asked the customer to check in at 2:45. In short, on-site management is an art. If you are just working there, you just need to follow the process. It is not far from Tohoku University. Cross the road and walk to the end. After entering the campus, go straight and turn right, and you can see the statue of Mr. Li. Mr. Li's style is as high as the mountains and as long as the rivers. I caught up with the Aoba Festival, also known as the Sparrow Dance. I don't know the origin, but the liveliness and watchability are not as good as the Awa Dance Festival in Tokushima. I came here to join in the fun. On that Saturday, the price of accommodation around Sendai Station doubled. Only KOKO next to Dainen Park maintained the original price. Where can you find more than 200 per night? After all, I am in a first-tier city in Northeast China. This price is OK. In addition, after checking out, I wanted to take a taxi to the airport. I wanted to ask the front desk to help me book a car. I don’t know if there was a communication problem. I came out alone on the roadside to help call a taxi, and stretched and yawned. So I politely asked him to go back. Who can't hail on the roadside... In short, the KOKO series is worth staying for cost-effectiveness. But if you are a couple, especially on your honeymoon, well, you know, this is a business series, which may ruin your romantic atmosphere, not recommended... That's all.

The hotel is across the street from the tram. The room is very quiet and clean. The front desk service attitude is super good. There is a free hot spring on the second floor and free breakfast in the morning with many varieties. The only small drawback is that you can only check in at 15 o'clock in the afternoon. You have to wait in the restaurant for a while and there is free coffee☕.
