The space is large and cheap. It's not too far from the city. But there are big cockroaches and ants in the room.
It is recommended to contact the gate in advance, otherwise you will not know the password.

It is a relatively good homestay in the small town of Semporna. The room is pink~ Because of the island hopping tour, we also negotiated for a late check-out, which is very humane! There is air conditioning and the bed is also very big~

We were shocked and surprised when we arrived Ellys Home on 9 April. There is a Malay staff waiting for us at the entrance and he informed us our stay is changed to Paly Hotel (just next to Ellys Home). The staff passed us a call from the owner of Ellys Home. She said it is Trip.com error that the website still allow and confirm the booking even the Ellys Home is already fully booked. Therefore, she arranged for us the replacement at Paly Hotel.
Generally, Paly Hotel is good. However, it is better to update the travelers in advance for any changes (instead of informing only on that day on the spot). We have no choice to accept the change and this caused inconvenience to update our travel agency in last minute.
For this reason, I will not recommend others to make bookings via Trip.com.

The room space is very good! The bedding is also comfortable, and it would be perfect if extra pillows and a refrigerator are provided!
There are many restaurants nearby, and there is a laundromat opposite the first floor, which is very good!
The store responded to messages instantly, and the local guy in the store was also kind and friendly! When we were leaving, he came running over and asked us if we wanted water! Although we had water but didn’t ask for it, it felt very cozy!
