I stayed here with a few other cyclists I rode with for a few days. Bikes can be stored in the garage with easy access/exit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast only so other meals must be eaten off site although there are several nice hotels within walking distance. I stayed in room #5 which is accessed via the lobby entrance. The A/C is not turned on until "summer" which although quite common in Europe in general, was unfortunate as the weekend I was there, the temps were in the low 90's F. Although there is a patio window exit to small patio with two lounge chairs, the patio is next door to the lobby patio with only a few plants to separate the two patios so it would have been easy to enter the room if the patio window was left open at night to help cool the room down. Another issue is that there were some ants regularly crawling around the desk table top.

We absolutely loved our stay here. I couldn’t fault the hotel at all, it’s truly magnificent. We were greeted by a member of staff (Toni I think) he was extremely helpful and gave us a guided tour of the hotel. Our room was out of this world! We had a suite with a terrace. The room was extremely clean and the shower was huge! Breakfast was fresh and was made by their great staff. The hotel had an honesty bar full of drinks and snacks! We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. We hired a car and parking was no problem. Thanks again for making our stay so wonderful Can Cota.

Just had a week here and absolutely loved staying here. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel and pool area are immaculate. We hired bikes locally and they have a big storage garage. It is right in the heart of Selva which is a lovely little village with a nice square and a few nice little bars. We ate out at some amazing local restaurants. Thanks again to the wonderful staff at the hotel we will be back.

Lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff, good rooms and grounds, excellent location and views. Thumbs up for the breakfast and good value honesty bar by great infinity pool. Simple gym and spa on site.

We loved it ! Magnificent site, exceptional view from the numerous tastefully furnished terraces. Everything is highlighted. Very classy interior like the exterior. Nice room and good bedding. Varied breakfast, served, cooked on site by smiling and attentive staff. Heartwarming welcome. We feel really good in this hotel and only want to come back for more. We have not tried the swimming pool, superb, nor the jacuzzi, nor the treatments, nor the gym... Lots of great services to try! A very very nice address.

PROS - Timely communication prior to stay - More-than-reasonable rate - My room was available at noon - Friendly front desk and breakfast staff - Onsite massage service ($70 for 55 minutes) - Beautiful design and decor (the architect who designed the house had lived there) - Gigantic balcony - Gorgeous views. The sounds of the countryside lulled me to sleep at night - Ice, fresh water, and coffee always available - Well-stocked honor bar (try the "homemade vermouth") - One-minute walk from Miceli, a Michelin-starred restaurant (dine here!) - One-minute walk from the main square. (Between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Es Forn Cafe is a fun place to have a drink and people-watch) - Huge room (two rooms, actually) - Lots of natural light and fresh air - Excellent breakfast - Plenty of comfortable outdoor spaces for lounging - Quiet neighborhood - Multiple walking trails nearby CONS - Housekeeping overlooked room - Pillows could be better

We have had 7 wonderful days at this cozy hotel. The staff is really helpful and serviceminded. The hotel is very quiet and relaxed. It has a nice little pool with a beautiful view. My Husband and I spent the morning with biketours and the afternoon at the pool. Selva is a small town with good restaurant. If you like to shop Selva is not the right place :) We will absolutely come back to Can Cota

We have been spending the weekend and it has been spectacular! The staff was very pleasant and attentive, the house was impressive, the breakfast was very good, and a very good starting point for excursions, whether on foot or by bike. A place to repeat, without a doubt...you feel at home!

We had a junior suite and it was amazing. With an unreal view and access to your own terrace. In general, you got the impression that you were living at someone’s house. Large comfortable bed, large shower. A magical breakfast that you can enjoy in the sala. Everything is mixed and delicious. The service is excellent. We were immediately recommended places near the hotel where we could go for lunch or dinner. There is no sea, but the nature is fantastic. Highly recommend!
