Absolutely the worst hospitality experience EVER. Had to change rooms and even hotel locations 3 times, at 2am, after a 14 hour drive, 2 softball players, all of their gear, suitcases and ours!!! The night manager, Richard U, offered us a $40 a night refund because of the inconveniences. At first, we thought, ok fine, our girls were dead tired and had a Showcase the next day. After 5 days, our girls tried to take a break and go swimming at the Holiday Inn ( the hotel we eventually got a room at), and the pool had WORMS in it!!! Needless to say, after spending $971.00 for 4 nights, we could have stayed at The Hilton itself. Then, at checkout, we had to go back to the Hampton Inn where we originally booked our room, months in advance, we’re told, Richard U had no right to offer us any compensation!!! Because we booked online and through a third party booking (affiliated with Hampton/Hilton) they can’t compensate for all of their mistakes. I spoke with, Greta, the hotel accountant who stated, she would honor Richards word and send a check the afternoon of our checkout. Upon arriving home and the day before Thanksgiving, Richard emailed us on his day off to tell us that we would NOT receive a party refund because he never said anything of the sort. We didn’t ask for compensation, IT WAS OFFERED TO US by the manager. He didn’t even want to discuss this in writing, he wanted us to call him at his convenience??? This place is a joke, the hospitality is a complete mess and they are as dishonest as they come. Softball families STAY AWAY!!!! We spend enough money as it is, the absolute headache and crap show at this establishment is NOT WORTH OUR TIME AND OUR MONEY!!!! Side note, we cannot even get accountability of our disastrous stay on our Hilton Rewards program because it was booked using THEIR third party.
