Un gran hotel en una excelente zona llena de negocios y bares junto a la plaza mayor, la catedral y el restaurante José María. El aparcamiento está complicado en la zona aunque el hotel cuenta con Ricardo que te recoge el coche y lo trae cuando lo pidas. Las habitaciones amplias y confortables. El desayuno buffet estā correcto y en el restaurante puedes elegir menús muy originales además del clásico segoviano de cochinillo. El personal es muy atento y agradable. Limpia diaria de la habitación. El hotel es silencioso aunque esté en una zona muy transitada. Por desgracia no pudimos probar el spa por estar cerrado esa semana. Lo demás genial.

Lo primero que hay que decir es que nos vimos obligados a alojarnos en este hotel debido a que nos trasladaron desde otro. Cuando nos lo dijimos y vimos la web del hotel nos dijimos: “bueno, tiene spa, igual salimos ganando”. Pues no, no fue así, porque el spa estaba cerrado o en obras. La primera en la frente. La Segunda nos la dio el aparcamiento. La recepcionista, simpática pero que parecía agobiarle muchísimo todas las preguntas que le hacíamos. El aparcamiento que nos propuso estaba lejos, muy lejos y era carísimo. Nos aseguro que era lo más cercano y más barato. Lo cierto es que no. Encontramos otro más barato y mucho más cerca. La habitación no estaba mal, aunque la bañera es una trampa mortal por los resbalones que propinaba. Por la noche se nos fue la luz, y tan solo teníamos encendida la tele y el calentador de agua, que, por cierto, no funcionaba. Lo mejor es el mensaje que ponen en el ascensor, en el que te dicen que si les das una reseña 10/10 en tripadvisor y otras plataformas, te hacen un 10% de descuento en tu próxima estancia. Nunca nadie me había intentado sobornar de forma tan *********. (Adjunto foto) Lamentablemente, creo que me quedo sin ese 10% de descuento. :(

El hotel está prácticamente en el centro de la zona histórica, a medio minuto de la Plaza Mayor, con un montón de restaurantes alrededor. Desde el Acueducto, se llega andando en 10 minutos. La habitación era tranquila, con un tamaño adecuado, camas cómodas, baño amplio... y todo muy limpio. A destacar, el personal de recepción que era muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar. Y como extra, tiene un mini spa en el propio hotel (contratación extra), además de restaurante (no lo probamos). En general, fue todo correcto y bien. Como puntos a mejorar, que hacía un pelín de frío en el baño porque se concentraba el calor en la habitación y la calefacción se regula desde recepción; y que la habitación tenía 3 escalones de las camas al baño y si te levantas por la noche o vas con linterna o tienes que echar la luz para no darte una leche (podrían poner de esas que se encienden al pasar y dan la luz justa). También me fijé que no hay persianas, así que no sé si entrará mucha luz en verano (tenía las típicas cortinas opacas).

Perfect location in heart of beautiful old city.
Location in heart of town is wonderful.
The spa is an extra €25 pp and it is unique in that it has old Roman ruin elements in it.
It was a self service arrangement where you take yourself from one element to the next (hot showers, colder showers, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room etc). We asked about doing massages or spa services but they said they didn’t have staff that day so we didn’t try that aspect.
Didn’t have time to eat any food at this hotel but there are lots of good restaurants nearby. Front desk staff very nice and helpful.
