Had high expectations considering price of room. £450 a night expected everything to be spot on. Only 2 coat hangers in wardrobe so for a couple 1 each not enough. Went to put clothes on top of wardrobe and dust cloud I created was disgusting. Had hot tub room and went to use it and it had drained dry. Called duty manager who came and said it has a faulty tap. Had to wait 20 mins for it to refill. Had drink in bar for 2 cost £22. Exact same order in pub across green was £14. Beds were very comfy, decor was lovely but doesn’t justify price . Sedgefield is a lovely village and will return just wont stay there. Sorry.

Wow this place was just perfect! I was a bit nervous reading the reviews wonder if we even stayed at the same place! The lady on reception was lovely and friendly and booked us in for dinner and for breakfast, we could have had breakfast in bed but we went for the restaurant. The room was well decorated, massive bed and comfy as! Huge bath tub and shower all perfect. There's a selection of goodies in the mini bar wherr there's a fridge but we brought our own. There's a co-op nearby should you need anything. Outside was a lovely little courtyard with seating which we used as the sun was shining! And of the course the reason why we chose this hotel was the hot tub! It's brand new and is hot as! It was set at 40 degrees and maintained the temperature at all times we were in and we were in it for ages! We actually turned it down to 38 as it was a bit hot. The jets were powerful and did wonders for my shoulders and back. Then we went for dinner and wow, the best steak I've ever had it was delicious, it was a chateaubriand. The waiters were amazing and answered all my questions! Breakfast in the morning was also amazing! I would certainly recommend this place and we'll defo be returning! We got the dinner bed and breakfast rate and for what you get I think this is great value.

Feel very picky but the amount of money we spent and this was booked as a birthday treat, so had to share my disappointment. The room on first impression was amazing and the bed was lovely. The slipper bath was lovely too. Hot tub was only luke warm and weather wasn’t the best so we didn’t stay in for long which was a disappointment as that was one of the reasons we chose the room. Quite a lot of dust and hair in the room and shower despite being on coolest setting was boiling hot We had a Sunday meal which the vegetables had pickled onions on?? We were also missing the stuffing that came advertised with the pork belly. And my starter of prawn cocktail had no cocktail just a plate of prawns on some lettuce which had shell on so I left. We decided to skip dessert and hoped for a better breakfast experience. Unfortunately this was also disappointing, I had eggs royal which was freezing so again left. The pastries were nice and there was yogurts and plenty of cereal to choose from so such a shame the main dish was cold. Iv seen a lot of reviews to say the staff were unfriendly but this was not the case for us. Everyone we spoke to was very nice. I just wish I’d complained about the hot tub at the time as that was what I was most looking forward too. Such a shame

After initially being anxious reading some reviews, I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff, especially Ava, were polite and friendly, the food was delicious and the room was perfect. I loved the decor and the extra touches, can’t wait to visit again

Have been visiting the Pig since it opened and what was initially a fantastic addition to our village is now a rather irritating place to come to. Food wise it was spot on when we first visited between Nov 2018 - Feb 2019.. however the service has always been an issue, staff lacking in personality and the senior staff mostly arrogant and unwelcoming. Had food more recently and I was so disappointed. Yes, the decor is fab but the overall atmosphere is just bland. Can’t work out if it’s a bar, a restaurant or a hotel 🤷‍♀️.

If I could give less than one star I would . Do not waste your money at the impeccable pig . What an awful experience we had , the food was just about edible with the pizza looking and tasting like a 99p frozen pizza tasted as bad also . Although the room was nice it wasn’t what we booked as stated on the booking site with stains on the sheets. Not to mention the church bells ringing every 15mins and then multiplying on the hour . We didn’t sleep a wink and left so tired we went home for a nap . There so close to the hotel I would think they should tell people this when there going to sleep and can’t We tried to talk to the manager regarding the issues to be met with shocking attitude. We had also been billed an extra £33.10 for items we did have . After paying close to £450 for a night away with no food or sleep I’m fuming . Never will I ever go back and will advise no one to go here . Over priced and full of attitude . I wouldn’t normally put a review but I would hate to see anyone spend well earned money to experience this dreadful place

Spent the night in one of the master suites last night and had the tapas & prosecco deal on the evening. The suite was absolutely unreal... huge, luxurious and the attention to detail was spectacular! All members of staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Elliott who greeted us, made good recommendations and was non-judgemental with how much we ordered from the bar!!! A superb, great value-for-money stay. Thank you x

Forget the impeccable pig it’s a ripoff the Pickled parnsons over the road sooo much better food and value for money Maybe not the same same posh interior but at least your not getting your eyes ripped out

Environment nice but was it worth £14 for an ordinary glass of wine no it was not . Appeared to be overpriced for drinks . Would not go back as you can get better environment and quality for money in other pubs in sedgefield.
