Having driven six hours from London, we arrived a little after 6pm on 26 November 2022. Firstly, can appreciate it's not peak season so it was quite deserted, but was a bit worried about our security as front door is just open. Then, was greeted with an envelope on a table which can be understood given aftermath of pandemic. It was on entering - what was a nice enough and clean looking room (Room 10, 1st Floor) - we were 'well' aware of the coldness in the room. There were two radiators and neither were on. We called provided numbers for assistance but received no answers. Then, went to take a shower to warm up and no hot water!! We chose to drive to Whitehaven for something to eat and warm up, then return. Needless to say our one night stay was miserable and very cold. Our checkout was 10am and thankfully there was hot water at 9:05am (had been testing it since 7:30am) but still no heating. Aside from that, the views were amazing from the room - seafront - and we took a brisk morning walk down to the beach before leaving which was good. A few pics attached for appreciation. Better customer service and attention to customer comfort, required.
