First of all, we survived. Second, but we were so grossed out. The room was not cleaned. Hand prints on headboards. Nightstand residue I had to clean with a wet wipe. Mold on the shower tub flooring. So much caulking around the shower head it looked like icing. Sheets had stains on it. Only one trash can. Tissues were see through one ply. The hallway floor on the way to our room looked like a failed remodel where the whole left side of the floor sagged down unevenly so much so the luggage roller cart teetered over. Stay here at your own disgust.

The hotel was dated, old, very dirty. Breakfast area tables dirty, choices poor. Microwave needs to be replaced. Needs more teas than just black. Never refilled entry water supply canister. Need adult yogurt, not just kids. Not close to much.

I stayed 2 separate times within a week. Both times they were very friendly and professional! The room was very clean and quiet. It was also nice they had a selection of things to eat if you didn’t want to go out. I would definitely stay here again!

Clean, comfortable overnight stay. Friendly staff and fair price. Well-lit outside. Quiet inside with no interruptions. Breakfast was average but good. Easy access from highway. Felt safe in the area. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel was for the most part adequate. We needed a place to crash for the night and it was fine for that. The room was clean. It has all the basic amenities: coffee maker, fridge, and so on. The beds were comfy and we all slept fine. There are always a few nit picky things: a broken toilet seat or a smoke detector that is covered with painter’s tape. It just gets you wondering what other details are neglected? Maybe nothing, maybe something. Who knows. We are always thankful for a breakfast, but this one was subpar. With so many hotels now offering it, I feel you need to do it well or not at all. The breakfast area was dirty and food offerings were scant. The chafer of water scrambled eggs and sausage sat unattended the entire time we were there. It was like they knew they had 30 minutes remaining and tried to stretch what was left because they didn’t want to make more. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for more than just a place to get some rest. If that’s all you need, you are good. It’s inexpensive and close to the highway.

Good bed n pillows. Room not cleaned good, toilet quite dirty. Breakfast. Egg mix grainy, both batches. Waffle mix too thin. Biscuits hard, can’t cut with knife. Coffee good, muffins good. Staff very friendly, tried their best, and good value for 2 queen beds.

It's infested! I should have paid attention to the first red flag; a filthy elevator. Moving down the hallway the carpet appeared really dirty and worn out. (Second red flag). Upon entering our room we noticed the dirty and worn carpet was no improvement. (Third red flag). We made the best of it however the next morning we were shocked to see roaches on the curtains, window sill and floor! Couldn't believe it! We found more on the hall window right outside our door ! (Final red flag) Upon leaving we made mention of the infestation to the clerk who responded with a "deer in the headlight" look. I guess to him it was nothing new. A real disgrace to the Choice Hotel Group.

Executive Summary: Meh. The Positives: The room was mostly fine, the beds clean and comfortable with no smells. The warm water could be turned up pretty hot. The Could-Have-Been-Betters: Although we mentioned to the phone reservation person that we had a very small dog, that didn't seem to be passed along to the on-site staff. We were walking the dog after we checked in and the desk clerk came out to claim that we didn't tell him we had a dog. We said we told the reservation person and he said it would be an extra $20. He also mentioned something about people with dogs get rooms on the basement floor. So, I suppose we were given a room too good for us because of our supposedly hidden 5 lb dog? Then later when I made a trip out to the car to retrieve an item, a different desk clerk asked if I was in Room XXX. I said yes, and she presented a form to sign asking details about the dog and us, stating the $20 fee, and a whole page of boilerplate clauses which I didn't read. I reckon that if he had barked, we would have had to buy the hotel or something. What's strange is that while they seemed to really focus in on a purse sized pooch, cases of empty beer bottles were strewn around the side entrance and back of the hotel. Apparently small dogs are a much bigger problem than copious amounts of litter on the grounds. All in all, we felt a bit unwelcomed due to the intense scrutiny of the dog while there seemed to be little concern for trash outside. Other reviews mentioned a smell from the livestock pasture next door. We didn't find that to be an issue, no smell. Maybe the wind was blowing towards it instead of from it. The breakfast really could have been better. The sausage patties and scrambles eggs were fine. But the biscuits and english muffins seemed to be from the day-old thrift store. No butter could be found for breads or waffles. If you wanted peanut butter or cream cheese spread as well as butter on your bagel, forget about it. And the orange juice may have had an orange in it within the last month or so, but it was just pale water. I did not try the apple juice or cranberry juice. Security? Wasn't an issue for us, but the side door was propped open with a brick and there was no lock on the inner entrance door. Anyone off the parking lot could just walk into the hallway. I'm sure that's not a problem though, because they might have a dog and that would surely come under observation. You need a place to sleep, don't have a pet, and are going to leave before breakfast, then this place will do. Otherwise...

Clean and quiet not sure what more you could ask for when staying at a lower priced hotel. Typical free breakfast and the staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. Located conveniently off i81 and backs onto agricultural area. If the smells associated with agriculture bug you find another hotel.
