Warm and welcoming staff, overall cozy and nice place with a great location and services! Room was tidy and mostly updated to this day - with a nice view and balcony.

Great situation with dogs and very useful route outside via balcony. Great walking paths (and swimming places) around those islands and most of them also with lights during evenings. A little pity that they don’t offer any doggy bag like other hotel chains. Rooms partially renovated to good level, origin 1969. Lockers with keys is also a good extra while staying w/dogs which are eager to check bags by themselves

Stayed here for two nights during the Opera festival. The location is very relaxing and the spa was great during the heatwave. Too bad the outdoor pool with small terrace was closed. The spa, as well as many other areas are in need of an extensive renovation. During the operafestival, the prices are sky high, so you would expect more. Staff is excellent and the service fast. Breakfast was varied and adequate and a la carte dining had some interesting choices. You can eat outside with a view towards the marina which was a big plus for us.

We stayed in our boat at spa hotel peer. The place is very beautiful, but the hotel premises would need better maintenance. As a nice surprise the Spa was included in the price, but on Wednesday evening it was too crowded and we used only the showers.

Good practical hotel Though a bit dated, this hotel is well maintained and practical. Hotel overall and rooms are kept is good working order and clean. The staff is friendly and professional. Restaurants are nice, especially the old one. One of the best things with this hotel is the location. Especially in summer, the location is beautiful and a nice short walk to center of Savonlinna.
