We had a great time at the Marshall House. It's in a perfect location right in the middle of the historic district. We were in a Boughton King and it was fun hanging out on the huge balcony. The step stool to get out of the window to the balcony was pretty precarious, though, and I really think it needs to be replaced with something sturdier. The bathroom lighting was good (yay!), but the bathroom was small (you have to take turns getting ready) and the claw-foot tub had no good place to put shower toiletries, etc. I think the breakfast must have improved since some reviews were written because although it wasn't fancy, it was full service and there were plenty of options such as fresh cut fruit, eggs, bacon, waffles, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, etc. The cocktail hours were fun and changed each night.
