I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of September 2022. My room was in Il Borgetto, I believe it was called La Vigna. The room was comfortable, with aircon, Wi-Fi, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, plenty of storage space. Breakfast was served in a building just a short climb from my room (note that breakfast was not available the first two days because apparently they only serve breakfast in October…). Breakfast had plenty of fresh kilometer zero items such as breads, yogurt, cakes, honey, and eggs cooked to order. Susan was friendly and helpful, and we even went to get pizza together on my last night there. The agriturismo is lovely but quite rustic. You will need a car! Be sure to arrive during daylight since the road into the place is a gravel road that is quite narrow and dark. The village is close, but not really close enough to walk. I enjoyed the quiet, the clear skies, and the feeling of being surrounded by nature. Be sure to walk down to the river. I had hoped to get to the thermal spring but it was across the river and being alone, I did not attempt the crossing. This area is a good base for day trips to Pitigliano, Manciano, Pienza, and Monte Amiata and many other smaller villages. If you are interested in the Cascate de Mulino, it is a short drive to the parking area. I recommend having change for the parking machine since I never could get the credit card to work. The drive to Civitavecchia to board my cruise ship was an easy and scenic 2 hours, with photo and gas stops.
