Prachtig landhuis maar veel van de kamers zijn in een naastgelegen gebouwtje, veel minder mooi dan de foto’s op de site doen beloven. Het ontbijt was zeer matig (brood op, borden op, kaas zwetend want niet gekoeld). Diner was niet ook niet zo lekker. Wij vonden de prijs niet in verhouding met de kwaliteit.

We had an all around great 3 days stay at La Bandita.
We received a warm reception and were taken care of by a professional and very friendly team.
Food was excellent, both the breakfast buffet (outstanding omelette) and the dinner.
Highly recommended!

A pity I can only give 5 stars, I wish I could give more. This is a Gem of a place! Two things that particularly stand out are: the staff. It seems to be more than a job to them all. They all seemed to enjoy working there and their enthusiasm shows; The food. No need to look at the menu, everything is gorgeous. We stayed 9 days and never went anywhere else for dinner. This is all in a secluded spot with glorious views of the wooded Tuscan hills. Easy access to the sea (35 min's away) with extensive beaches, and trains to Pisa, Florence etc. Also an excellent base for visiting vineries. I could go on, you get the gist.

Spent a week here, with a friend! It’s lovely! The place, the views, the food, the rooms, but mostly the staff. We were not blessed with good weather and it’s up the mountains, and the restaurant usually closes on a Tuesday but they stayed open so we wouldn’t have to drive down the mountain. The breakfast was great and the food in the evening was fab too!

Struttura in posizione strategica per spostamenti verso il mare e verso centri storici più o meno conosciuti: Sassetta, Sassa, Volterra, Castello Ginori, Castagneto Carducci... Immersa nel verde. Il nostro alloggio, nella depandance della villa principale, aveva accesso diretto alla piscina. Camera e bagno spaziosi e puliti. Colazione abbondante e varia. Abbiamo anche cenato in struttura e siamo stati soddisfatti per menù e pietanze proposte. Personale assolutamente cordiale, professionale, sorridente. La signora Daniela, padrona di casa, sempre presente e disponibile. Consigliamo sotto tutti i punti i vista e ci auguriamo di tornarci. Grazie!

So kann man die Toskana einfach nur genießen. Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Zeit in Sasetta im Tenuta la Bandita. Von Pisa waren wir mit dem Mietwagen eine Stunde unterwegs . Das hat alles sehr gut geklappt und wir wurden herzlich im Tenuta la Bandita begrüßt. Wir bekamen ein sehr schönes Zimmer im Haupthaus ganz oben und konnten die Abende auf dem Balkon ausklingen lassen. Die Anlage ist herrlich mit tollem Blick über die Olivenbäume. Der Pool sorgt für gute Abkühlung und ist sehr gepflegt. Dort konnten wir neben zahlreichen Ausflügen gut entspannen. Die Tipps von der Belegschaft zu Ausflügen in die Umgebung waren sehr hilfreich. Da das Essen so lecker war, haben wir die Abende auf der schönen Terrasse ausklingen lassen. Auch das Frühstück am Morgen ließ keine Wünsche offen. Alles sehr lecker. Also insgesamt ein paar schöne und entspannte Tage in einer sehr gepflegten Anlage mit familiären Charakter. Lieben Dank Diana, Thomas und an alle anderen der Belegschaft.

Ben oltre le nostre aspettative. Le foto non rendono la bellezza ed eleganza del posto, immerso nella natura in una tenuta curata e raffinata. La titolare e tutti gli operatori sono stati cordiali e accoglienti. Un posto dove rigenerarsi in assoluta pace. Ottimo anche il cibo. Anche il nostro cane si è sentito accolto e coccolato.

Onze verwachtingen waren hoog gezien de positieve reviews die wij op voorhand lazen. Op zich werden we vriendelijk onthaald door de eigenares. Het verblijf is een mooie Toscaanse villa, met olijfbomen er omheen. Maar er wordt te weinig gebruik gemaakt en te weinig aandacht geschonken aan het domein en het terras, dit zou veel mooier kunnen zijn indien het zicht naar de tuin en de vallei open zou zijn en moest het terras beter onderhouden zijn (over de losse keien ligt er een soort tapijt/rode loper dat betere tijden heeft gekend). Eigenlijk is dit algemeen zo, het verblijf straalt ‘vergane glorie’ uit. Wij verbleven 2 nachten in een klassieke tweepersoonskamer (kamer 40), waar de tijd was blijven stilstaan. Lees: ouderwetse draperieën boven de ramen en boven het oncomfortabele bed, ouderwets beddengoed en een stoffige mat op de grond. In de badkamer had de vloer wat waterschade, en de douchecabine was niet zo aangenaam om te gebruiken, de handdoeken roken muf. Het beste aan deze kamer was het ongelofelijke uitzicht op het Toscaanse landschap. Het grote zwembad is mooi onderhouden en erg aangenaam. Het avondeten in het restaurant van het verblijf is wel ongelofelijk lekker, maar prijzig (ook de drank was heel prijzig), de serveersters zijn ongelofelijk lief en vriendelijk, petje af voor hen!
