Hotel Restaurant Baratxartea

We stayed for 3 nights to explore the area around Sare. Our room in the annexe was very good, spacious with a separate shower room and WC - a good sized balcony with great views. We’d booked “Demi Pension” and the evening meals were very good. On the first night there were two choices of starter and mains - including vegetarian- the food was expertly cooked, exquisitely presented and used the very best quality ingredients, resulting in wonderful flavours - a Chef who understands and excels. The quality of accommodation and food is very good for the price charged, great value for money. . On our second and third evening there was no choice on the set evening meal, but the A La Carte (with supplement) allowed for us to find a meal that suited us both. Breakfast was plentiful, fruit, cheese, meat, preserves, pastries, different breads, a feast to set you up for the day. But I save the best for last. The attitude and welcome of all the staff was outstanding, professional and knowledgeable - they made the difference between a good and a great stay. We will return as we still have much to explore locally
