I chose this hotel primarily for its convenient location near the Sapporo JR station. You can sense that the hotel has a slightly old or dated atmosphere. That said, the room size is decent, very clean, and the service is excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.

We recently stayed at the Grand Mercury in Sapporo and had a generally positive experience. The hotel's location is very strategic, allowing easy access to various attractions in the city. The hotel rated 5 star in trip, I will review as above standard. The hotel is a big building, grand looking, When I first entered the hotel, reception staff, received me very politely, invited me to seat down, and she arranged my turn for check-in. Check in staff also very professional, good smile, efficient. After I settled down in the room, I wanted to go gym and swimming pool, I noticed there is a fee 3,300 yen per use. This is the first disappointed unreasonable charges. I went down to the lobby, wanted to have a drink. I go into the only lounge in the lobby, the second disappointment came, the lounge staff told me the lounge only open to higher level customers, not for normally room guest like me. I am totally unsatisfied with what I paid and what I got. Other unsatisfactory issue like room size very small, bed park toward the wall, don’t have wardrobe, bathroom very small, small tv 32”, parking fee 2000 yen. Anywhere the breakfast was good. You can choose a better hotel nearby.

The location is strategic at this season of time because it will be so harsh to brace through the cold snow dragging luggages to walk to any other hotels surrounding. So Nikko is the best choices. Amenities is fantastic and very fine too, they provide super handy pocket size sanitiser,skin care set meant for winter dry weather, bath salts and MIKIMOTO body lotion is so good for dry skin, absolutely loving it. View from 33th floor is just amazing, be it good or bad weather, overlooking the breathtaking snow mountains is just beyond satisfying. I tried to book local tour with the service desk, but they are not helpful. It will be perfect if the staff could be more professional with international tourists.

Good location. neat sapporo station. booked a quadruple room for 4. big and spacious enough for 4 of us and can fit 3 luggage. i like the bed, comfy and the pillow suits me well. however, the parking comes with a fee of 1500yen. Toyota rent a car is just next door.

The hotel is located across the street from the south exit of JR Sapporo Station, and with easy access to a big shopping area as well as JR and metro systems through the underground pedestrian system. The single-person room I stayed for five nights is not large, but a comfortable one. A double bed with a high-quality firm mattress enables me enjoy my sleep every night. The central air-conditioning system works very well, not dry nor noisy. The only thing I would add in the room is a small safe box. Overall, it's a very nice deal.

Excellent location, very close to the airport bus station and the Nakajima Koen station's escalator. It is also very close to the lower part of the Susukino district and there are a bunch of restaurants a few minutes away from the hotel. The breakfast was okay, we have had better breakfast before but to be honest the breakfast is actually very good for this price point. Delicious ice cream is available during breakfast and it's from the Niseko Takahashi Farm. There is a coffee corner at the lobby and serves drinks from 3-10pm iirc.

This may be the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in during my time in Japan; the design is modern, the buffet is wonderful (although a little pricy) and the view of Odori park was great. I especially enjoyed the bath, as it was separate from the toilet, which is rare for smaller hotel rooms in this country. The staff were very kind and understanding, as I had asked for my luggage to be held until 3 pm but I didn’t retrieve it till much later with no issue. I stayed in the standard queen room and got more than I expected. Would recommend heartily!
