As a guest, it's always unfortunate when you have to experience poor service during your stay, especially when you've paid for it. It's understandable that one expects a certain level of hospitality when travelling and the experience can be a big part of the overall satisfaction of the trip. It seems, however, that the service of the apartment the guest stayed in was far from desirable.
The guest seems to have had a mixed experience during their stay. First day before check in 3 hours and 30 minutes happened to stay outside of the apartment due to lack of coordination of the booking agent . While the condition of the apartment was good, the service that accompanied it was quite subpar. It's unfortunate that with good accommodations, the service left a lot to be desired.
One issue that the guest had was with the towels provided - or lack thereof.
Having only been given one set of towels and while staying for four days, the guest was left with no choice but to use the same set throughout their stay. This is unacceptable, especially when the guest did try to get more towels replaced, only to be refused by the apartment staff who advised that they contact the booking agent instead. This is not only an inconvenience for the guest but also reflects poorly on the apartment staff. To add insult to injury, the staff were also unable to speak English - the international language of travel. Guests who are foreign should not have to struggle with communication while staying in a foreign country. After all, it's the responsibility of the establishment to provide proper communication and assistance to their guests, regardless of where they come from.
The lack of hospitality and rude attitudes from the staff certainly didn't help matters either. As a result, the guest does not recommend the apartment to any foreign guests based on their experience.
Overall, it's quite clear that this was an unsatistactory stay for the guest. The subpar service has left a bad taste in their mouth and unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any positive factors that make up for it. It's important for establishments to pay attention to these details as it can make or break the guest's experience.
