A nice quiet location away from the crowds but close to beaches and attractions if wanted. A pretty little oasis to rest up with very friendly and helpful owners. Will be on my places to visit again.

Joaõ's Jungle was voor mij de perfecte locatie voor mijn tweewekelijkse werkvakantie! Mijn verblijf in de prachtige studio was geweldig: alles was brandschoon en het bed was heerlijk comfortabel. De faciliteiten om vanuit huis te werken waren ideaal. De wifi was uitstekend, er stond een prettig bureau tot mijn beschikking, en ik kon genieten van mijn koffie en ontbijt in de zon buiten. Tijdens mijn pauzes kon ik heerlijk wandelen in de natuur, en binnen 10 minuten bereikte ik de kliffen met een adembenemend uitzicht. Het was een waar genot om 's middags buiten te werken bij de buitenbar in de zon! Joaõ heeft een groot stuk land met fantastische faciliteiten. Mijn vriend en ik hebben genoten van het bakken van heerlijke pizza's in de authentieke steenoven en het barbecueën op hun innovatieve grill. Al met al biedt Joaõ's Jungle alles wat je nodig hebt voor een onvergetelijke en uiterst comfortabele vakantie! Bovendien zijn Johanna en Ronny geweldige gastheren, boordevol tips over wat er te doen is in de omgeving. Ze zijn uiterst behulpzaam, vriendelijk en gezellig! Als je een onvergetelijke ervaring wilt in het prachtige Portugal, kan ik een verblijf bij hen zeker aanraden. Hun plekje voelt niet alleen uniek en als thuiskomen, maar de omgeving en locatie zijn ook perfect: binnen 15 minuten ben je bij Ericeira of Sintra. Het was maar 45 minuten met de auto vanaf het vliegveld, en binnen een uur rijden hebben we het Nazare surf spektakel mogen aanschouwen! Echt een toplocatie dus als je wilt genieten van een heerlijk huis met zwembad aan de kust en ook uitstapjes wilt maken en de omgeving wilt verkennen! Kortom, mijn verblijf was zeker een 10/10! Wij komen volgend jaar zeker terug!

We loved our stay here! Johanna and Ronny were fabulous, friendly hosts, explaining the local area, providing barbeque equipment and beers from the bar. The property is pretty, with private areas to relax, a shared pool and games area if you have children.
We stayed for 4 nights and did day trips out to fabulous Sintra and different stunning beaches. We loved the surrounding area.
The apartment was spacious and comfortable and really well equipped.

We had an amazing stay in the ocean drive romantic cottage. We really like hiking, and went for long walks over the cliffs. Fantastic views! Lot's of nearby beaches too. The cottage was so lovely, and it was wonderful to just stay and chill by the pool in the garden. Our hosts Johanna and Ronny were so kind and friendly, and we had a lovely stay with them. Me and my fiance actually got engaged during our stay, in the beautiful cottage. And we celebrated in the evening with our hosts and the other guests. We will definetly come back!

Johanna welcomed us with open arms. The apartment was clean and really comfortable. We had our own outdoor space, plus the swimming pool, tennis & basketball court to share with other guests. Really quiet spot far enough away but within reach of Sintra & the surrounding area. Cannot recommend highly enough!
