Had to change plans when the power went out at our ARBNB and found this place on line and booked it. It was a blessing the power went out as this place was amazing . Small and quiet with clean rooms and a great staff who accommodated our every need from umbrellas to doing our laundry . Only a block off from. the main drag in Colonial district so we could walk everywhere and felt very safe . Will stay here again .

María in housekeeping was extremely attentive and helpful. I love this hotel. It always feels like home! From reception, rooom service, poolside, and beyond. This is where you go when you want to feel like home without any distractions. I highly recommend it!

The hotel belongs to the city landmark building, the facilities are modern and new, this plus points. Free underground parking, easy access, and the front desk clerk is very friendly. Remember to add 20-30 US dollars, apply for a high-rise suite, the view is super good; there are free snacks and fruit water before 7:30PM every night. Breakfast is very good. The most important thing is that the dining has Chinese food, tea, the taste is very good, this is a plus. The room is a suite, living room, horizontal, bathroom independent space and large enough. The living room has a kitchenette (microwave, hot water bottle) coffee and tea. In this Caribbean island country, you can find a hotel produced by Chinese food, which is great! If you come here for business trips, it is highly recommended!

I would definitely consider staying at this property during my next trip to Santo Domingo. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained. The staff is very nice. And also the pool is a great place to hang out. One of the better Radisson properties I have ever been to. A very good value. One thing to keep in mind: the breakfast is not free although at a lot of other hotels at this quality breakfast is free. It cost about $15 per person. My suggestion would be to look elsewhere. But other than that, it’s a fantastic place and great staff.

I have been staying for long time at the Homewood Suites in Santo Domingo, DR. This an excellent hotel, with extremely good customer service. Their personnel go above and beyond to accommodate you and make your stay enjoyable. I recommend this hotel.

I always love staying at El embajador for the staff. They feel like family, and they all treat you with love and respect. Lucy, the chef on the 7th floor deserves a Michelin star. Years apart from visits she is able to prepare the same delectable dish with the exact unwavering quality of a 5-star establishment. Marty and Yonatan are incredible servers, they will always try to accommodate you with the same love and warmth of family. Carlos Rodriguez the bellhop on the first floor is also great. He is always super friendly and genuine, this is the best staff ever. You will feel like you are staying at your new home.

Having a long stay at my favourite Hotel in Santo Domingo. Impecable throughout!!!! Beautiful penthouse with jacuzzi!!!! Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, sleep like a princess. Amazing. I just love it here!!!! Wonderful room service and staff always willing to help!!! Special thanks to Jordi, this guy is everywhere!!!!! I get my reservation though the sales department. The person I deal with is very courteous, 1. I agree with couple of bad reviews here,,,,, Key issues, room outdated and moist smell on rooms and hallways, ( they are trying to fix the issues with dehumidifiers throughout the floor's hallway.... 2. front desk : they have inexperience front desk agents..... ( looks like no customer service skills training is happening at this location.... 3. to give the benefit of the doubt, this location has what is called club members that are not guest of the hotel, but they use the facility's gym, pool, sauna, and amenities from the hotel. so I think this ism the reason why the front desk and some of their staff lacks of just serv. skills. mix of people ...... and locals that visit or are member of the club are the med high class of the country and treat staff like if they are slaves..... so part of the problem lays in that, they try..... talking about the front desk staff....... 4. other staffs, they think they know everything..... one thing that bothers the most is when someone is trying to cover a fault with an excuse that doesn't even make sense.... please don't BS a Bs'r. 5. Rooms: other than having a moist smell, they lack of insulation ( sound proofing) you can hear everything that is going on on the other room, and when I say everything, is EVERYTHING..... my 11 years old asked me if they were killing someone on the other room..... 6. ammeneeties and restaurant staff, very courteous, and pleasant tried to accommodate me as much as they could possible can...... 7. Staff at 8th floor. they have a cigar lounge up there and more of a pleasant view away from most locals that visit the facility...... 8. if you want to have a nice sleep try executive rooms. everything is different.... by the way THIS IS A VERY CHEAP ($$$$$$ WISE) HOTEL.

My layover in SDQ was utilized for resting. I did enjoy my room. It was clean with all the amenities. I enjoyed sleeping long hours without any interruptions. The members of Staff were pleasant and service in the restaurant was quick. The hotel is in close proximity to the SDQ airport and was ideal for my layover. Taxis were available at the behest of the front desk.
