Globally, very poor value for money. Building and setting are nice but the customer experience wasn't a pleasant one. Check in, check out and overall services level was minimal. Room was tiny, dated (i.e not comfortable) and lacked functionality. We booked a room with a terrace but unfortunaltely, this was a shared terrace so privacy was an issue. Fortunately, view towards the garden was a pleasant one.

Hotel con parcheggio privato scoperto a 8 euro a notte. L'hotel si trova a 15 Min a piedi circa dal centro. Per arrivare in centro la strada è in discesa e per risalire ci sono una serie di scale mobili. A 3 minuti a piedi da hotel c'è un ristorante tipico che ci ha consigliato l'hotel ma non abbiamo avuto modo di provarlo ma era pieno di gente. Camera ampia e pulita. Buona la colazione . Consigliato per chi arriva in macchina e vuole visitare a piedi la città.

Abbiamo trascorso una notte in questa città molto movimentata. L’alloggiò è situato nella parte alta della città in una vecchia casa immersa in un giardino molto tranquillo. La struttura è semplice ben pulita ed accogliente dotata di un grande parcheggio chiuso.

El hotel es ideal para quedarse en la ciudad. El personal extremadamente amable desde principio a fin: nos dieron recomendaciones sobre qué hacer en Santander y el día de salida nos permitieron sin problema dejar las maletas hasta la hora que quisiéramos para no tener que cargar con ellas en nuestro último día. Las habitaciones están impecables, camas amplísimas, baños muy cómodos y vistas espectaculares al jardín. El servicio de habitaciones también estupendo. Por otra parte, el desayuno buffet muy completo y en un salón súper agradable y cálido. Un 10 en todo, repetiremos seguro porque dudo que exista en Santander un hotel mejor en relación calidad-precio.

There is a elegant, old-world charm to this hotel that immediately put me at ease. I arrived early off the ferry but the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating - providing me with coffee and a croissant on the lovely terrace while my room was prepared. The room itself was clean, simple and classic - polished wooden floors, high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows - so airy and bright. The bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious which I enjoyed looked out across the beautiful garden. Top marks from me and a big thank you to all the staff!

This hotel is special because it has a huge yard in the middle of a busy city. Unfortunately, given the heat wave without air conditioning the room was hot and noisy in a busy urban area. Breakfast was less special than I expected from the write up; the hotel is on the grounds of a hospitality training grounds.

Después de muchos años utilizando los servicios del hotel Las Carolinas cada dos meses, puedo decir que nunca a lo largo de esos años me he sentido como en un hotel. Siempre me he sentido como en mi casa. Ahora toca jubilarme, pero cada vez que vuelva por Santander, iré con la tranquilidad de saber que hay un sitio en el que me sentiré igual que en casa. Gracias a María Jesús, a Icíar, a Alfonso ya todo el personal, por haberme atendido tan bien.
