I booked a coastal hotel, but was given a garden view. I was cheated of my money. There is a McDonald's across the road downstairs, which is convenient for breakfast. The parking fee of 65 per night is really expensive

Perfect location in Downtown Santa Monica very close to many attractions, shopping & dining options. The famous Santa Monica Pier is an easy walk across from the hotel, along with plenty of beach/ocean access. The entire property is renovated & the rooms are very nice, comfy beds and the chaise sofa next to the window is perfect for watching the sunset or activity in the busy area.
My only complaints are that the heated outdoor pool wasn't finished (although a full amenity charge was applied, which it is part of), microwaves weren’t available, live TV doesn't show programs on the guide (just channel abbreviation), cellphone coverage is weak in the room unless you are next to the window.
