Arriving on the 3rd of January, we were greeted by 7 days of unbroken sunshine and a consistent 24-degree heat—a dream come true for lifting the winter blues! The resort itself was absolutely spot on. Sun loungers were abundant around the pool, so there was never a scramble to find a spot to relax. The all-inclusive setup meant food and drinks were available throughout the day, and the variety was superb. While the buffets were excellent, the specialty restaurants truly stood out. We enjoyed fantastic meals at the Asian, local gourmet, and steakhouse restaurants—each offering unique flavors and great service. The beach was a slice of paradise, with its white sands and clear blue sea creating the perfect setting for unwinding. It was everything we could have hoped for in a winter getaway. After a 6-hour flight from Birmingham, this was the ideal retreat. RIU Funana delivered on every front, and we’ll definitely be back for another dose of sunshine and relaxation!

Clean, food good, rooms a little dated. One couple, were brother and sister, so the bathroom caused a few problems, with them each having to leave whilst the other showered, also booked a twin room but was a double bed on arrival, which was rectified the day after. White party, 5 stars.

Absolutely fabulous resort. A must stay with very friendly and welcoming staff, clean and well maintained facilities, plenty of food options beautiful beaches and lots of activities to keep you busy.
