This is a good more-or-less 4* hotel. Good base for hiking in the nearby countryside. Very comfortable bed and good shower. Elegant building and surrounding hotel landscape. Perfectly good, simple breakfast. Good internet.

Struttura molto bella, camera e bagno veremente spaziosi. La stanza era un po' fredda, ma è stato sufficiente aumentare i gradi sul termostato per avere una stanza più calda. Colazione con ampia scelta di prodotti, sia salati che dolci. Personale disponibile e cordiale. Per chi come noi, viaggiava in bici, la struttura dispone di un comodo locale per parcheggiare le bici. Il locale è accessibile dall'esterno, senza scale, è chiuso a chiave e al suo interno ci sono già i lucchetti per posizionare in sicurezza la bici. Ci sono le prese di elettricità e una serie di attrezzi per la piccola manutenzione delle bici. Abbiamo anche cenato nel ristorante, ottima cucina, con menù alla carta forse un po' 'limitato' come scelta.

Oh dear. Our terrible welcome (not) after a long journey spoiled everything. It was all a bit Fawlty Towers. The young man wasn’t friendly at all. We wanted dinner but were told that we would have to wait for service because there was a table of 8 people. Yes but in an enormous room there was only 4 other people. And yes we did have to wait. It was all rather amateur. The young man from the guest then became the waiter. We had to fetch our own menu. And when we ordered wine it took 20 minutes to come and the bottle had already been opened before it came to the table. It was horrible and expensive and they charged for it. The replacement bottle took another 10 minutes to come. The food when it came was good although the dessert was not great. The restaurant was a bit bleak. We felt that the nice lamps needed to be lower with less bright bulbs. Back in the room the TV didn’t work. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom fine. The next day we realised that it was in fact a nice place. The woman on the desk was really helpful. The lounge was beautiful with lots of fun games and we had a lovely coffee. It’s a real shame that our initial experience was so bad.

Sehr komfortabeles Hotel, abseits vom Tourismus-Trubel. Reichhaltiges Frühstück-Buffet und ein sehr gutes Restaurant mit lokalen Speisen (Menü kostet 28,50€ mit Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Nachtisch)
