This was our first family holiday travelling with our 3 year old and our 7 month baby on a 7 night visit , staying in the Family Section in Block A booked through TUI. My wife and I have stayed at many all-inclusives over the years. Please do ignore the negative reviews - these are likely from some of the more entitled guests we saw on our stay which let down the hotel and I will refer to this again further in the review. I have to preface this by saying we had the time of our lives - this is an excellent hotel for both families and adults alike, you will be looked after, and everything is close and convenient which we appreciated with young children. We want to mention some specific shout-outs to Tomeu the restaurant lead who made us feel appreciated each night, grill chef Romano in the family buffet who put on an excellent spread of meats with a smile, the servers were excellent but my wife wanted to put a specific mention to Ana who made her and my children feel special. All of the TUI Kids & Baby Club staff were outstanding and the animation team were great too. Room: Family rooms are a little more dated in terms of decor and would benefit from a refurb to the standard of the Adult's section, but be assured these are still sleek and very comfortable particularly the beds. If you aren't looking for attention seeking Instagram pictures you won't have any issues here. We did encounter an issue with the bath but this was rectified by a quick call to the reception with no issues for the rest of our stay. Pool: There are various pool options, the main activity pool is great with a swim-up bar and is heated, it felt like a bath for the first few days which was glorious. There is a wide availability of sunloungers everywhere (no 'sunbed wars' here!), you will only face competition for the popular 'Bali' canopy beds, we managed to use these for 2 days out of our stay and they were very comfortable. There are also available inflatables for the kids. I will note that the heating was evidently turned down towards the end of the stay and this was the only negative. There is a child's splash area near Block B which is nice but is a little cold so best used during the heat of the day. We did venture to the adult's only main pool but this was too cold, I think for a 5* the heating could be improved and should be a given. Food & Drinks: There is a main buffet restaurant which includes a children's own buffet with assorted plastic cutlery which we appreciated, our 3 year old loved going to pick out her own meals. Each night has a specific theme and there is a variety of food available to cater to everyone's needs throughout the day. I particularly recommend the Omlette station for breakfast, I have visited many resorts and this was to a very high standard. There is 'Thea's Coffee Shop' which is fully included in your stay if you are All-inclusive - this is essentially your Starbucks/Costa fix including gelato and pastries, doughtnuts etc! We
