Location of the hotel is fantastic for a family holiday. Its near to the beach, its even closer to a large nature reserve where we we're able to explore and see many different species of bird and we also saw wild tortoise which was a first for us. This is the local area but its so close to the hotel that this is a big plus for lovers of nature. Locally the area also is part of a few resorts that run into one another. Cala Millor/ Cala Bona and S'illiot have possibly all grown to a point of being basically one ***** that makes a great bike ride for a family. Now back to the hotel review. We stayed in the family side and I cannot review the restaurants aside from the buffet. With Children, its always risky to go a la carte.. Service can be slow and its all a bit more formal so we save these for when our kids are older. In the Buffet there was always a good choice. There's a really nice touch in the 'kids' area with lower counters and a more simple selection of foods. Our daughter really liked this and it made life easier for us. Service in there is amazing and the team mostly seem to enjoy their quite difficult work. We heard the team break out into a chorus of 'Circle of Life' while clearing up after breakfast one morning. The doors were closed but it was great to hear them having a bit of fun after what is relentless work for them. My only minor gripe is that there was a couple of occasions where the guests line up for a particular part of the buffet.. ie the curry or the steaks and block the rest of the entire buffet meaning any one who wants anything then needs to join the queue. The hotel management could do to sort this for next season although possible this was unique to our stay as i've not seen this anywhere else. We went to green and grill a few times too as a good alternative for some lunch. A quick note on the division of the hotel. Apart from reception, the family and adult sides are very much like two separate hotels. Obviously, for the adults that want a bit of peace then its great for the adults but this works both ways. The family side had zero grumpy old couples that I noticed and really added to a welcome feel for the families in the pool areas and buffet. Pool areas. We where there really late in the season and the activity pool was busy. It was a little warmer in there so possible heated in October / November. The staff here were great. The other pool was much quieter and cooler temp in the water. Towels. This is one area the hotel could do much much better. I have only stayed in two hotels in all my years that have got this sorted, but its proof that it can be done. Basically the hotel has the problem of entitled guests that reserve a few loungers around the pool and possibly only use them for a couple of hours. I witnessed a set of 4 loungers in a really prime position - towels on, a few bits and pieces maybe a book or whatever and not a single soul is seen at the loungers until after lunch. It makes me really annoyed.

This was our first family holiday travelling with our 3 year old and our 7 month baby on a 7 night visit , staying in the Family Section in Block A booked through TUI. My wife and I have stayed at many all-inclusives over the years. Please do ignore the negative reviews - these are likely from some of the more entitled guests we saw on our stay which let down the hotel and I will refer to this again further in the review. I have to preface this by saying we had the time of our lives - this is an excellent hotel for both families and adults alike, you will be looked after, and everything is close and convenient which we appreciated with young children. We want to mention some specific shout-outs to Tomeu the restaurant lead who made us feel appreciated each night, grill chef Romano in the family buffet who put on an excellent spread of meats with a smile, the servers were excellent but my wife wanted to put a specific mention to Ana who made her and my children feel special. All of the TUI Kids & Baby Club staff were outstanding and the animation team were great too. Room: Family rooms are a little more dated in terms of decor and would benefit from a refurb to the standard of the Adult's section, but be assured these are still sleek and very comfortable particularly the beds. If you aren't looking for attention seeking Instagram pictures you won't have any issues here. We did encounter an issue with the bath but this was rectified by a quick call to the reception with no issues for the rest of our stay. Pool: There are various pool options, the main activity pool is great with a swim-up bar and is heated, it felt like a bath for the first few days which was glorious. There is a wide availability of sunloungers everywhere (no 'sunbed wars' here!), you will only face competition for the popular 'Bali' canopy beds, we managed to use these for 2 days out of our stay and they were very comfortable. There are also available inflatables for the kids. I will note that the heating was evidently turned down towards the end of the stay and this was the only negative. There is a child's splash area near Block B which is nice but is a little cold so best used during the heat of the day. We did venture to the adult's only main pool but this was too cold, I think for a 5* the heating could be improved and should be a given. Food & Drinks: There is a main buffet restaurant which includes a children's own buffet with assorted plastic cutlery which we appreciated, our 3 year old loved going to pick out her own meals. Each night has a specific theme and there is a variety of food available to cater to everyone's needs throughout the day. I particularly recommend the Omlette station for breakfast, I have visited many resorts and this was to a very high standard. There is 'Thea's Coffee Shop' which is fully included in your stay if you are All-inclusive - this is essentially your Starbucks/Costa fix including gelato and pastries, doughtnuts etc! We

We are a family of 4, with kids aged 9 &12. We have stayed here for 12 days. We had one of the swim up rooms over looking the main pool and can’t fault the room. Spacious & Cleaned daily and the swim up got sunshine all day There are two main pools in the family section, one is more aimed at smaller kids, and the other one has a swim up bar and has more older kids and families in it. The swim up bar has good service and if you do have to wait for a drink it’s not that long. The grounds are all kept nice. The entertainment team are great, they work so hard and are also great with the kids. In terms of location it’s a short walk to the beach and local restaurants, so found that perfect. The sport area is a walk outside the hotel where the kids did football, we did racket ball and crazy golf which is all free and good fun. Plus the games in the pool by the entertainment team are great. If you have booked this holiday you will have a great time, so don’t worry, but for me there were some small negatives and why I didn’t give it 5, and this is mainly because I’m comparing it to past holidays/hotels we have been to for the same price We ate out 5/6 nights which I would recommend doing as there are some great restaurants nearby. Overall it’s been a great holiday, we have enjoyed it and feel lucky with the room we got. I don’t regret booking it, but if i were to come back to this area I would likely try one of the other hotels. This is no reflection on the staff as they all work so hard.

Garden swim up room in adult area was fantastic. The food and drink was great. The staff were all really friendly. This is definitely a place I will visit again. The manager even remembered our name which was impressive. We borrowed bikes and cycled to Porto Cristo and surrounding areas. We did a lovely walk to the castle. The spa was very relaxing. The adult only area was relaxing and there were plenty of sun beds. Definitely a 5 star experience.

All rooms are clean and made up daily. The only one thing I would say is that it would be nice to have a beer in the mini bar. 3rd visit to the Biomar, staying in the Adults area each time. Lovely building, good food choice and low-key relaxing evening entertainment, at a volume which allows a conversation. The hotel manager regularly walks through- and is happy to have a chat.

Very impressed with this hotel. The food is very good and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room is a roof top swim up and well worth the upgrade as the pool is heated so ideal for October weather. Would definitely return to this hotel again in the future.

Visited in June this year and had a great holiday. This hotel is wonderful. We stayed in the adults area in the circular building. We also stayed in May last year, again in adults section. ROOM Good size, very modern, clean and plenty of space for clothes. Bed was clean and comfy. Fridge was stocked daily with bottles of orange, cola etc. Air con worked very well. Nice balcony with table and 2 chairs. We liked the bathroom set up. Didn’t bother us at all that it is not the most private of bathrooms. If you are a couple, don’t know why it wouldn’t be suitable. FOOD Buffet restaurant in adults section was brilliant. Loads of choice for breakfast and in the evenings. Each night there was a theme. We particularly enjoyed Mexican and Indian nights. The desserts in the evening are absolutely amazing. We visited the Indian and Italian specialty restaurants. These were a nice change from the buffet. Our curry was lovely at the Indians. At the Italian restaurant I had a rigatoni pasta dish and it was fab. Husband had pizza and said it was very good. I had panna cotta for dessert and it was absolutely amazing! One of the best desserts I have had anywhere. Lunch times were ate at the adults pool bar each day. You order from a menu and food is brought to you. There is a good choice. Sandwiches, burgers, nacho’s, pasta, pizza. We had quite a few things from the menu and everything was fab. There was an English woman who worked at this bar and she was very chatty, friendly and informative. GENERAL - adults section Everywhere in the adults section is clean, fresh, chilled atmosphere and relaxing. The staff are friendly and can’t do enough to help. Always plenty of sun beds. Staff walking around the sun bed areas asking if you want drinks. FAMILY SIDE We went to the family side most afternoons to have a couple of drinks. We enjoyed our drinks but definitely preferred the adults section. The pools are nice though for kids and the TUI staff were always having fun with the kids and parents. We love this hotel and would definitely recommend. Only problem is that the twice we have been, Majorca airport is extremely busy, chaotic and has no organisation. This is the only thing putting us off visiting Majorca again.
