Stayed for a week in June as a family of two adults and two children (4 and 3m). Having previously stayed at other TUI blue concept hotels (including their other Ibiza hotel, Aura), we had an idea of what to expect. Each have their own pros and cons but the formula is very much the same. Tarida beach isn’t part of the ‘for families’ TUI blue range so doesn’t have the Captain T / T Bots kids entertainment. What I really loved about this hotel was the setting right on the beautiful beach- the restaurant and the outdoor sunset bar have stunning views and it’s a great area to see a famous Ibiza sunset. The retreat (the short walk up a hill was no problem at all) is a great facility to have. There’s a bus stop with access to San Antonio nearby. From there you can easily get another bus to Ibiza town / other parts of the island if you didn’t want to take a taxi or hire a car. The food was very typical of a TUI Blue hotel - the main restaurant buffet had a wide range of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we had no issues finding something to suit all of us every day. The downside to this hotel for us was the standard and size of the room, along with the layout. We were on the lowest level but still had steps up to our room (pain with an pushchair), and we were all in one room which wasn’t as big as other places we’ve stayed. The room was also a little tired in places. The other slight disappointment was the kids club and children’s entertainment - perhaps down to it not being within the ‘for families’ range. Our daughter loves kids clubs on holiday usually, but the staff and atmosphere here, while they were ok, didn’t have that extra special friendly touch that we’ve had elsewhere. The mini disco was very samey and not that engaging. For anyone deciding between here and the Aura, it’s a hard one - they both have positives and negatives. For us, I think I preferred this one. Just! We don’t choose to go back to the same places, but I wouldn’t say no to coming back here in the future.. the swim up rooms looked good would try a different room type.
