Good location in Santa Eulalia, for me the best area of ​​Ibiza if you are looking to go with your partner or family. The breakfast was excellent! Although if I had to give a suggestion, it would be that they put fresh orange juice. The check in was great, they had availability and they gave us the room before the hour. For check out, they had rooms available and made us pay €10 an hour from 12 until we left. We have a baby and we needed the room until after lunch to take him changed to the airport. I understand that if there is no availability, they don't do it... or that if you want to leave at 6 pm, they charge you something, but for a short time it seems ridiculous to me. I have an accommodation, and as long as there is availability it is not difficult for me to let my guests leave later.

We stayed at Duqesa for 3 weeks and didn’t want to leave. Rooms are spotless and cleaned thoroughly daily. They are very well equipped with a lovely cool bedroom and a very powerful shower in bathroom. There is a lovely rooftop pool with plenty of beds and never overly busy. The location is perfect for us as a short walk to marina, bars and restaurants and the beach. The road noise is loud but you are bang in the centre. What really makes this hotel is the amazing staff. Have travelled all over and never had as lovely friendly obliging staff. Catered to our every need with a friendly smile and chat every day. Yolanda, Rene, Walid and Tony, it was a pleasure to meet you all.

This was my fifth stay in eight years at the usually brilliant Simbad. The staff are all lovely, particularly restaurant staff and cleaners. The breakfast buffet is extensive, the rooms are comfortable, the hotel is modern and clean and the view is incredible. We have kept coming back - including a visit with 15 friends last year for a special birthday - because everything has always been great. Until now. It’s no exaggeration to say our holiday was ruined this year and we will think twice about returning again. The only issue is the bizarre pool policy that seems to allow countless non-residents to use the facility whenever they wish, despite a sign saying the pool area is exclusively for the use of guests only. What should be an oasis of calm and restfulness looking out over the beautiful Talamanca bay is now ruined by scores of people who aren’t staying at the hotel using the pool. In a response to another review complaining about this, the hotel director replied seeming to imply there’s nothing they can do about it as the pool is on public land. Maybe something there is lost in translation - I don’t see why someone couldn’t operate an entrance gate to control numbers and noise. The problem was bad during the day while we were there, but particularly awful during the afternoon/evening from about 4-8pm. The pool used to close at 6pm, which seemed odd but maybe this helped, as it’s now open well past 8pm. I appreciate this complaint may sound petty or entitled, but I simply think that the pool should be for the use of residents only, in line with any other hotel I’ve stayed in all over the world. Unfortunately the current situation sees people turning up in droves, failing to use the showers and jumping straight in the pool. I twice saw babies with their nappies being taken off on sun loungers then put into swimming attire without swim nappies, then going straight into the pool. The noise level from children screaming, shouting and repeatedly jumping into the pool is totally unacceptable and not only punctuates the calm around the pool area but also across the front of the whole hotel, including the lovely bar and balconies. The pool area capacity is stated as 40 - yesterday evening I counted 32 non residents, the day before there was 22 children in the pool. You can see from the website it’s a very small pool area. At one point this meant there wasn’t enough loungers for residents and being around the pool was akin to being at a kids club throughout the evening. This isn’t the usual and understandable sound of a few children playing in a swimming pool on holiday, it’s like a whole classroom of children all set loose at the same time There was even a visible divide with residents at one end of the area, as far away from the noise as possible, and everyone else at the other end. Hotel is small with limited facilities. Their website was confusing , we thought we booked our Ibiza stay at Ocean Drive Talamanaca, which is nearby , but a nicer hotel. We got disappointed when we arrived at Ocean Drive Ibiza. Good part is that staff is very helpful and kind - just old hotel - need an upgrade.

Good hotel and in good location which good sized rooms and a pool on the roof. The only issue for me that for a 4 star hotel there were no iron/ ironing board facilities for guests which is such a basic requirement for any hotel that claims to be 4 stars. They have an ironing/ laundry facility which obviously costs more money to use, but if I want a shirt ironed I have to give it to them the day before. Please please invest in irons/ ironing boards for guests. It’s a basic facility for guests to use.

Great location. Lovely and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The bathroom situation took a bit of getting used to...toilet is seperate from the shower. Staff were accommodating when they gave us a double room instead of a twin and they changed it immediately. Our only disappointment was the Rooftop pool area and bar, was advertised in the lifts as open but it wasn't after the first day we got there. There was no Indication, when we booked that this area was closing. Would definitely recommend this hotel though.

The service of the hotel is very good, because it was my birthday and honeymoon to say hello in advance, the hotel specially arranged the room for us. The service attitude of the hotel staff was super good, and the staff at the front desk gave us a lot of travel suggestions. The hotel is directly close to the sea, and it is very close to the city center. The old town and the seaside are basically walkable. Other areas can rent a car and set off on their own. If you have any needs, you can ask the front desk. There aren't many taxis, but they all have strongholds, which are located near the downtown harbor. The first time I came to Ibiza, I was very happy to book this hotel. The location of the hotel is 7 kilometers away from the airport and it is 1 kilometer away from the bus. The hotel is directly close to the sea, and there is a Yanhai Avenue on the left. Smoking, breakfast is rich, dinner is exquisite and delicious.

The service is excellent, as are the facilities. They also give you the possibility, the day you leave, to spend the whole day in the hotel and take a shower before leaving (they provide you with towels, shampoo...). The location is good, it is not the center of Ibiza but it is very close to Cala Gracioneta and Cala Saladeta, supermarkets and all kinds of services.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the breakfast offerings. The spread was complete and absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes Moreover, the reception service was exceptional. Special mention goes to Alicia, who provided outstanding assistance. Her friendly and professional demeanor made my stay even more enjoyable. The excellent service and warm hospitality at this hotel truly stand out. Highly recommended!
