Surpassed our expectations! This hotel in my opinion is a 5 star hotel - not 4 as advertised. The moment you arrive, you will realise you have made the best choice! The location is unbelievable - you are right on the sea front which means you’ll have fantastic views. There is also a nearby marina with many wonderful restaurants. Playa den Bossa is 20mins by car, and there are many other lovely places to visit nearby. We hire a car from Autos Mari which id highly recommend if you want to explore and soak up all that this island has to offer - it is far far far more than just nightclubs and playa d’en Bossa. All the staff are very well trained and extremely friendly. We feel like we have made friends with them all - Monica, Jennifer, Adrian, Alex and Mr night shift from NZ whose name I didn’t get (mainly because we only saw him between 1-5am when strolling back in from the nightclubs) who all went above and beyond to make our experience extra special and catered to all our unusual requests, plus the restaurant staff are all so lovely! 4 nights wasn’t enough this time, so we have booked to come back in 10 months for 10 more nights of pure magic at this hotel on this special island! This was my fifth stay in eight years at the usually brilliant Simbad. The staff are all lovely, particularly restaurant staff and cleaners. The breakfast buffet is extensive, the rooms are comfortable, the hotel is modern and clean and the view is incredible. We have kept coming back - including a visit with 15 friends last year for a special birthday - because everything has always been great. Until now. It’s no exaggeration to say our holiday was ruined this year and we will think twice about returning again. The only issue is the bizarre pool policy that seems to allow countless non-residents to use the facility whenever they wish, despite a sign saying the pool area is exclusively for the use of guests only. What should be an oasis of calm and restfulness looking out over the beautiful Talamanca bay is now ruined by scores of people who aren’t staying at the hotel using the pool. In a response to another review complaining about this, the hotel director replied seeming to imply there’s nothing they can do about it as the pool is on public land. Maybe something there is lost in translation - I don’t see why someone couldn’t operate an entrance gate to control numbers and noise. The problem was bad during the day while we were there, but particularly awful during the afternoon/evening from about 4-8pm. The pool used to close at 6pm, which seemed odd but maybe this helped, as it’s now open well past 8pm. I appreciate this complaint may sound petty or entitled, but I simply think that the pool should be for the use of residents only, in line with any other hotel I’ve stayed in all over the world. Unfortunately the current situation sees people turning up in droves, failing to use the showers and jumping straight in the pool. I twice saw babies with their nappies being taken off on sun loungers then put into swimming attire without swim nappies, then going straight into the pool. The noise level from children screaming, shouting and repeatedly jumping into the pool is totally unacceptable and not only punctuates the calm around the pool area but also across the front of the whole hotel, including the lovely bar and balconies. The pool area capacity is stated as 40 - yesterday evening I counted 32 non residents, the day before there was 22 children in the pool. You can see from the website it’s a very small pool area. At one point this meant there wasn’t enough loungers for residents and being around the pool was akin to being at a kids club throughout the evening. This isn’t the usual and understandable sound of a few children playing in a swimming pool on holiday, it’s like a whole classroom of children all set loose at the same time There was even a visible divide with residents at one end of the area, as far away from the noise as possible, and everyone else at the other end. Good hotel and in good location which good sized rooms and a pool on the roof. The only issue for me that for a 4 star hotel there were no iron/ ironing board facilities for guests which is such a basic requirement for any hotel that claims to be 4 stars. They have an ironing/ laundry facility which obviously costs more money to use, but if I want a shirt ironed I have to give it to them the day before. Please please invest in irons/ ironing boards for guests. It’s a basic facility for guests to use.

Great location. Lovely and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The bathroom situation took a bit of getting used to...toilet is seperate from the shower. Staff were accommodating when they gave us a double room instead of a twin and they changed it immediately. Our only disappointment was the Rooftop pool area and bar, was advertised in the lifts as open but it wasn't after the first day we got there. There was no Indication, when we booked that this area was closing. Would definitely recommend this hotel though.

I used it on my honeymoon. It was clean and stylish, and the front desk staff was very kind and fun, making my stay easy. He gave me great recommendations for walking around town and restaurants, and I had some great memories. Also, when I informed them that I would not be able to eat the breakfast I had booked because I was leaving early on the check-out day, I was very impressed that they prepared bread and drinks like a lunch box when I checked out.

Positive: very central, nice stuff, its clean Negative: i've been here 4 nights and was seriously thinking about changing my hostel after the first night. As a light sleeper, you're in hell here. Its SO LOUD, i can hear every single person in this hostal talking, banging doors, having S*x, doing whatever, it feels like the walls are made out of cardboard. And since there are people coming home at all times during the night and even the morning, i woke up a 100 times every night. The toilet right in front of my room was used by so many people during the night coming home from partying (even though it wasn't theirs to be used! ) and everyone was banging the door shut. Constraction work right outside the building starts early in the morning, so even if you found your sleep in the morning, it won't last long, believe me. Would never return to this place and dont recommend it.

The service is excellent, as are the facilities. They also give you the possibility, the day you leave, to spend the whole day in the hotel and take a shower before leaving (they provide you with towels, shampoo...). The location is good, it is not the center of Ibiza but it is very close to Cala Gracioneta and Cala Saladeta, supermarkets and all kinds of services.

The service of the hotel is very good, because it was my birthday and honeymoon to say hello in advance, the hotel specially arranged the room for us. The service attitude of the hotel staff was super good, and the staff at the front desk gave us a lot of travel suggestions. The hotel is directly close to the sea, and it is very close to the city center. The old town and the seaside are basically walkable. Other areas can rent a car and set off on their own. If you have any needs, you can ask the front desk. There aren't many taxis, but they all have strongholds, which are located near the downtown harbor. This aparthotel is in a great location. Beach on doorstep and 15 mins walk to the old town. The rooms are clean and well equipped with everything you would need. The shower is amazing with great pressure. If you’re a light sleeper in any way, don’t stay here as the walls are paper thin. You can hear the toilet flushing in the room above and furniture moving from rooms beside and above. There is also a large space under the room door so you can hear a whisper when people are passing by on the corridor.

The first time I came to Ibiza, I was very happy to book this hotel. The location of the hotel is 7 kilometers away from the airport and it is 1 kilometer away from the bus. The hotel is directly close to the sea, and there is a Yanhai Avenue on the left. Smoking, breakfast is rich, dinner is exquisite and delicious.
