"The hotel was great for us, the room a good size with a separate toilet from the bathroom and had all facilities you needed (even a free safe). The meals were self service buffet for breakfast, and a 4/5 course main meal - the starter was brought to you as was the main course (this being a choice of three dishes) and desert, the soup, salad, and cheese courses where all self service. We didn't use the ground floor ski-room as we only came for a weeks hiking, their is a games room, a kids play room, and a sauna (none of which we used either), we frequented the bar for beers and hot chocolate, a few nights a week entertainment is put on too. The staff are very helpful at all times, and the room is kept very clean."

The scenic views have to be a must go and how quick and easy it is to get to the town from the hotel. The train and bus is very affordable and not far from the hotel so you can easily have a day out somewhere else in the district and even go into the city and not just staying in the town."

"Absolutely love this hotel and St Johann in Tirol. This is the 5th time I have stayed here. Hotel is lovely and ideally situated just off the main square. The owners and staff cannot do enough for you. Lovely buffet breakfast with an option to order extras like freshly cooked ham and eggs at no extra cost. They even give you a lunch bag with a couple of bars of chocolate and encourage you to make up sandwiches / baps etc from the breakfast buffet to take for a picnic lunch. tea, coffee and some juices are available up until 5pm in the main dining room. The St Johann guest card gives you free use of the local buses and trains as well as entry to the local leisure centre and a free cable car ride up and down the Kitzbuheler Horn. Rooms are spacious and many come with a balcony with lovely views of the mountains surrounding St Johann. My favourite hotel."

"Our stay was great ! The hotel is very modern and comfortable. The room was cosey with a good bed and beautifull bathroom! Kept very clean every day, with extra towells and a bathrobe/slippers for the wellness. The temperature in the room as well as in the restaurant is quite warm. We very much enjoyed the lovely pool and sauna area, wich are also beautifull spacious and clean. The restaurant was beyond our expectations, delicious menu's wich offered a great varity off wonderfull food. The buffet was something to look forward to every day, and the restaurant staff so very friendly and welcoming. There was a seperate area in the restaurant for families with children. We agree on the temperature being rather warm. We felt very safe concerning covid regulations well kept. The piste a good place to ski and also the rockbar a very nice place to take a break, good rental services at Patricks Intersport, all next to the hotel"

"The people running this place are the highlight as they were all really helpful and nothing seemed to big an issue, the hotel itself is a little no frills and not necessarily the kind of hotel you'd want to spend the whole day in, so its very focused on providing you a place to rest between ski sessions. rooms were lovely to look at although unnecessarily hot at night. Rooms had smart TVs so we were able to log in to English speaking services like netflix. no tea making facilities in the rooms but 24hr access to a tea/coffee machine in the lounge. beds were soft but could have done with a better standard of pillow. hotel is described as ski in/out but in reality is a 10-15 minute walk to the main gondola station. would highly recommend for a sports/ski holiday."
