Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay. Room was clean, comfortable and had all the needed amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great.

Guest house as such is ok as well as room. But service is non-existent and staff is unfriendly. There was no reception, no check-in and check-out. Location is good and close to Sandton City which made me choose this place. For a five star guest house, it was rather a very disappointing experience

Guest house was ok but staff was unfriendly. Except for the guard who took us to the room, nothing was explained to us regarding the facility. No reception when checking in and out.

Very hard beds which resulted in hard beds, Breakfast ends at 9:00AM and it’s subpar. Customer service is nonexistent. Stay at the mall. It was hard to get any recommendations from them at all

We were visiting some family and playing golf in and around the city. The guest house was perfect for our needs. Very spacious rooms and lovely outdoor space. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. The manager and staff were extremely helpful.

Hyde Park Guest house offers exquisite luxury, an oasis in busy Johannesburg, the ideal spot for a short visit or for businessmen, it could also easily be for a long term stay as its homely feel makes it unique. Attentive staff, abundant breakfast choices, beautiful manicured garden, perfect location.

The guest house is located in a nice and save neighborhood, 20 - 30 minutes from the airport. Rooms & bathrooms are big, new, modern and comfortable. The buildings are surrounded by a majestic garden with a swimming pool. For privacy you may also use your own terrace. Malls and shopping options are only a few car minutes a way. The staff is very friendly and always bearing a helping hand. I can highly recommend a stay here :-)

From Los Angeles my fiancé and I attended funeral of my mother. The hospitality , kindness , Ubuntu , care , compassion provided by everyone from the reservation to arrival , during our stay , this 5 star guest house in Hyde Park was our oasis . Hope it will not be a hidden gem in Johannesburg. It felt like home away from home . Ndiyabonga. We WILL be back Thank you very much 🫶🏽💐🥰
