Stayed 6 nights with my wife. Nice, simple, although dated, accommodations located upstairs. Expectations in line with price. It is more of a small apartment: kitchen (with refrigerator, coffee maker, utensils, etc.), living room (with dining area), bedroom, 1 bathroom. Rooms are a decent size. Very nice view from the end unit and common area patio. The location is at the top of a steep hill, and is difficult to walk up unless you're a regular fitness walker, so be prepared to take an (inexpensive) taxi back to the hotel after a day in town center. Hotel reception is just one person. One woman who spoke English was very helpful. Some communication issues with the woman working the other shift because she spoke little English. I speak some Spanish, so we worked it out. There were several senior travelers staying here, and I'm guessing they figured how to navigate the hill. If you are very particular about upscale accommodations, this is not the place for you. If you enjoy a homey, cabin-type feel, and like to prepare your own meals to save $, then this place will be fine, especially given the rates. We would stay again, except for the steep climb up the hill. After 7 days, it got to be too much. Again, this is a great stay if you are hotel budget conscious and plan to take a taxi back from town central.
