Thermostat was pulled off the wall, so could not adjust temperature in the room. Also, there was no TV remote in the room, and not enough outlets.

The trip as a whole was a learning experience and by the time my partner and I actually made it to the hotel it was almost 4 a.m. the morning after our initial checl in date; so we had already lost a day and were mentally/physically exhausted from travel etc....
The staff at The Sands were incredible. From the wondeful associate who checked us into our room to the last associate I encountered at checkout.
The rooms are large and spacious and can easily provide a comforting retreat for families or couples looking to get away; as we did. The pricing was incredibly reasonable and I was so incredibly thankful for the option to prepay; which I highly recommended - if You and Yours can "leave everything as You found it" (if You break it You buy it) then the peace of mind at both check-in and check-out are 100% worth it. Just always be prepared to have $150-250 ready to use for the room's deposit (and that's any hotel, anywhere You go ... deposit at checkin is guaranteed) and You are golden. Just enjoy Your stay.
The way the staff, especially Henrig and Emma, took genuine care and concern for my partner and I, throughout our stay, was commendable and should be praised by Upper Management. They truly did wonders and made me feel like the most important person to them when I needed it most; and they did it all with incredible grace and compassion.

Staff are good friendly and respectful. However, the room i am in was confortalbe and clean, but Couple lights not working. specially, non of smoke detector working. I had been told i will get some discount on the room fees, but i have not recived any responds.
