Baia di Ulisse Wellness & Spa

The hotel is comfortable and clean. It has a large swimming pool, parking and private access to the beach with parasols and beds, as well as a friendly and well-educated bathroom service. However, the reception staff was not so hospitality and welcome because they were contrary to the presence in the room of a car-portable refrigerator used exclusively for the maintenance of personal products. I would have been banned from accessing the hotel with the mini-fridge afterwards because it would consume electric power caused by a overload of energy that could interrupt the electricity at the plane (which is a undue excuse!!!). I had to give my good reasons with determination and insistence to access the portable mini-fridge. It would be a good standard if the decor of clothes was respected in the hotel's indoor rooms of common use as guests walk in bath suits.
B&B Villa Maiolica

The rhetoric wants all people in the south to be solar and hospitality. I never liked the rhetoric and the phrases made. But in this case, well... a truth fund is there! Two really unique housekeepers. A b&b was a ban from a beautiful country, San Leone. The care of details, the attention to what for many is a customer, but for both owners is a guest, almost a friend. You will notice immediately when the person who carries out their profession does it only for money (for charity, legitimate!), or also puts passion. The girl of this living room was certainly breakfast. Only local products, not at zero kilometre ... at zero meter! Quality, cleanliness, courtesy and love for Sicilia, which has contagiated us. I don't mean we're going to go back, because there are so many places to see and, unfortunately, life is one. But I certainly feel I recommend it. Compliment, boys, continue so, don't give up, your land needs like the bread of people like you! A dear greeting by Ricardo and Francesca.
Hotel Costazzurra Museum & Spa

I had read the reviews of this hotel and picked it because of its location to the valley of the temples. Honestly, I feel like the hotel is trying to do a bit too much. The location is about a 10 minute drive to the valley of the temples. However, it is in a section of town called San Leone which is an area that is a bit rundown. We did take a taxi into town and we were taken to a very lovely area. If you are interested in staying in a more upscale area, this is not the hotel for you. By the time we got to this hotel, we had been to several other boutique locations. I was expecting similar service, but we’re greeted with people who looked like had a very long day and did not even stand up to greet us. It just felt like they could barely be bothered to deal with us. Although they were nice, they just seemed kind of beaten down . I had booked this hotel by translating the website into English. While my first email was in English every other following email arrived in Italian. It took quite some labor to translate all of the messages. I feel like they could do better in dealing with English speaking guests. There are two parking areas. One is behind a closed gate and the other is simply an open air lot. Both of these parking lots are located across the street from the hotel. Because a tour bus was arriving we were encouraged to park in the open air lot. There was also no assistance to try to help us with our bags. Other hotels that we visited, had someone come to our car to help us unload. One of the perks is that if you have dinner at the hotel, they will provide you with a bus service to and from the valley of the temples. I believe they have a 930 drive to the valley and then a noon departure. I think they may also have a separate time frame, but because we had already pre-bought our ticket we did not take advantage of this. The hotel specifically calls itself a museum and spa. When you enter the hotel in the main lobby, there are several cases of artifacts that were found at the valley of the temples or nearby. These artifacts are actually very cool. Sadly, the little cards that were on them were all in Italian and I could not read them. in regards to being a Spa, we did not take advantage of the service so cannot comment on it. Not exactly sure where the Spa even was but other travelers have commented on it. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. My only comment would be that the door knobs were extremely tricky, and we had difficulty figuring it out until we spoke to a maid who hand gesture to us how to do it. They had a nice breakfast where you could eat indoors or outdoors on their lovely patio. Across the street is a pool and a small playground. I also heard that they have access to a beach, but we did not go there. If you have children, this would be a good location for you. There was nothing specifically bad at this hotel but there was also nothing specifically wonderful. It was a bit shabby and we weren’t greet
