The worst hotel experience that I have ever had. They added extra charges on my credit card and lied to me about when I checked out. I stayed 1 night with my wife. I checked out in the morning and paid my bill at the front desk at 10:45 am and received a paid bill by email showing my charges and $0 balance due after payment and it showed my check out time at 10:45 am. A few days later I noticed my credit card had additional charges by this hotel. I called and they said it was the hold put on when I checked in and it would be reversed. After a few more days, the charge was not reversed and had to call the hotel 3 more times. Finally spoke to the manager who said the hotel card keys were turned in at 3 pm which was incorrect because when I checked out at 10:45 am, I turned in my key and paid my bill and never returned to the hotel and my paid hotel bill says I checked out at 10:45 am. I would not stay at this hotel again and if you do I recommend you check your credit card statement for extra charges. The hotel manager Gillian lied to me when I spoke with her. Frankly, I am not sure that I will stay at a Hampton Inn again.

Terrible hotel. Can’t believe hotel allows it to be part of the portfolio. Not sure with the positive reviews, but the room had NO air conditioning (CA heat wave), no working tv and is directly on the freeway. I do not recommend staying at this property

My stay at this Hampton Inn was an unacceptable experience. Upon arrival to the hotel, we were informed that the room we booked in advance had no air-conditioning. Upon further inquiry, we found out that this particular franchise of Hampton Inn has known that the air-conditioning hasn’t worked for sometime. If you read other reviews, you will see that this is a common occurrence at this specific hotel. it feels as if they just do not care and are banking on the fact that people won’t complain too heavily. Even when you do, they offer a measly discount as compensation for poor service.

Stayed for a wedding, no recognition at check in for Hilton Honors Elite, I was not given the Gold benefit (Water bottle n snack). Jillian at the front desk was rather rude when checking in and any other interaction. For example, I called and spoke to her by mid afternoon for stay over service since they never came and she snapped saying were are slammed can’t give you an eta. We needed to get ready for a wedding by 3 and if they could come before that or could we have more towels and trash bags. Very sassy response she said, so you want stay over service. The housekeeper was there in 10 minutes, she was amazing and super sweet. Pool had no towels when we went. Other family in other rooms called at 10:30 for more shampoo conditioner and by 1pm none had arrived. Our room the corner wall protector piece came unglued often. First time was in the middle of the night and fell onto the bed. Alerted front desk but never was fixed. Upon checkout they were mopping the lobby floor at 10am. Best time to mop right outside the elevator and exit doors when people are walking with bags? Seemed to me like an accident waiting to happen.

Do not book this property - typically a Hilton property gives me stellar customer service which is why I have been a Hilton Honors member for more than 15 years and why I continue to maintain my status after retirement. But I will never stay here - my airline reservation was cancelled literally two hours before I left for the airport and the re-booking made it impossible to take the trip. Thus, a late cancellation. After two attempts in an endless automated phone loop to simply talk to the front desk, I finally arranged for late cancellation for a charge of $50 which is entirely reasonable (though I had to manually cancel the reservation myself as it was never done). What isn't reasonable is the additional $125 late cancellation charge that was posted to my credit card and after nine days, I am still trying to get it removed through Hilton Honors customer assistance. Apparently manager Gillian Lemke can't be bothered to respond to Hilton's request for info either. What a shame - this property was reasonably priced given the season, appeared to be pleasant and appealing and it logistically worked well for me given proxmity to my "real" destination of San Diego. Hilton should question this property's membership with the Hilton group. Customer service just not up to Hilton standards whatsoever.

Was hoping for a good Hilton experience. Hotel is outdated, the furniture and hallways smelled of stale smoke. Requested extra pillows and blankets and had to re-request the next morning before getting them. Breakfast was the standard. Have to pay for parking. The pool is in full shade in the afternoon (we like the sun). The room had 2 double beds and a small pull out couch. Refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Wifi and TV service were hit and miss depending on the time of day.

If you DO stay here, which I wouldn't recommend, make sure you are placed in a room away from the freeway. It sounded like the window was open. My other concern was safety. I was placed in a room near the end of the hallway with stairs next to it. The stairs are internal but then lead to a second-floor external landing. This door from the landing that leads directly into the hotel never closed completely. The only redeeming quality was the helpfulness of the staff in switching my room.

So disappointed as a Hilton Honors member, how this has 4.5 star rating is beyond me. Would never stay here again, the hallways smelled, our TVs cable connections did not work due to a frequency issue with a nearby location, has to do with the cable company, their configuration on settings. A/c did nothing to cool the room off, no matter how much you lowered the temp. Receptionists were average at best. C'mon Hilton, this was a horrible experience including the $18.00 parking fee, your website says free parking here on Trip Advisor.

My husband and I love this hotel and staff! Gillian the Manager always goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Epi, Ruby, Borah and Hinal are very accommodating at the front desk, Maria always makes sure our room is clean, and Louisa makes sure there’s plenty of food at breakfast! We look forward to coming back!
