I traveled here with my husband otw to other destinations and found this a lovely respite from busy travel. Our experience was great because: The rooms are spacious, luxurious, and relaxing. The showers are the size of an entire ordinary bathroom and that really helped loosen the tension of travels and allow us to relax. The staff are great! Laura and Antonio helped us order some dinner to the hotel, which was extremely helpful! Muchas gracias Laura y Antonio! The hotel also offers pleasant room service options and there is a nice restaurant (casa Julian) very close by. Breakfast at the hotel is great and the seating area amidst fine, lush plants and well-curated garden furnishings, made for a wonderful morning meal. The hotel is unquestionably safe and there is a small zoo-type collection of animal enclosures a short walk from the hotel, both of which are located inside a secure perimeter. This little park makes for a nice walk amidst rainforest flora and intriguing fauna like monkeys and macaws and turtles. Guests can also visit the edge of a large river and see views of metro Guayaquil and the nearby airport. The location was convenient for us since we arrived from and left for the airport which is only 15-20 mins away. If you were going anywhere else the location might be irksome. This hotel is not in downtown Guayaquil and a taxi is likely needed to do any exploration. The downsides of this hotel are few but worth listing: It is easy to hear noise through the hotel doors. Guests walking, fountain splashing, and especially the clink of glassware and silverware from the central restaurant and seating area are common and hard to ignore fully. As mentioned before, the location may be trouble for your stay. I recommend you research what you are hoping to do in advance and ensure that this hotel’s location is suitable.
