Luxurious new hotel and our room was very good , well equipped and spacious. The restaurants were also very good, whether for breakfast or for evening meals, the quality of the food served was excellent. The location was very good for us as we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of the sightseeing areas but within easy reach - we used Yandex which worked very well and very cheap ( 15,000 to 30,000 soms each way to the main tourist sights, railway, airport). We also prioritised modern facilities over traditional hotels but If you want a more authentic experience you may want to go elsewhere. During our stay we also used the restaurant/bar in a nearby hotel on the same site which was a short walk away which was good also. The staff were very friendly, but the service was a bit patchy. There looked as though there was still a lot of staff training going on and I’m sure this will improve with time. Our only other point is that the swimming pool was closed (pool has no water in) and we felt that we given the 5 star status we should have been advised of this. We had a very good stay and would have given 5/5 except that the price was a lot higher than other excellent hotels on our Uzbekistan trip so given the points we've raised the value was not as good.

The facilities are old, so it can't be helped, but there were shops nearby where you can buy daily necessities and simple food, as well as places to eat, so there was no inconvenience. The owner responded to various requests seriously and quickly and was very helpful They also arranged a one-day taxi to Shahri Saabs for a reasonable price of $50 (the driver told me it was $80), so I was able to afford a little more. I enjoyed my stay in good Samarkand

There should have been a review here about a nice hotel located in the very center... But! The hotel behaved as disgustingly as possible and it is probably their practice to deceive guests. On 10/30/2023 we went to the hotel to look at available rooms. I liked the room. With the reception representative we booked through Bukin, the price was $30.38. 31.10 we stop by, at the reception they quickly calculate something and issue an invoice of 480,000 sum. Pay immediately. Ok, we put our things in the room. I start checking the exchange rate, but it doesn’t add up. I'm going to the reception. The girls begin to babble indistinctly something about an additional $4 per person - “registration tax.” For the first time we hear about this tax in 10 days and a lot of hotels in Uzbekistan. When asked to show where it is written, “Well, look on the Internet.” Additionally, it is very interesting that the promotion price on the booking is 30.78, adding that same $8 on top we get the “without promotion” price. The coincidence is strange. But ok, let’s assume that there is a “tax” that was not taken from us in other regions. Why is it not highlighted in the bill? Why doesn’t the receptionist communicate at check-in that the booking price is extra $8 for such and such reasons? The amount is not important, but the way they “push it through” is disgusting. Further, realizing that after the booking is closed the review on the booking will not be positive, the hotel independently changes the dates of my booking to the end of December with a new price. Thus, the guys expect that if the booking is canceled, I will not be able to lower their rating on booking and leave a detailed review. It's sad that the hotel, which has ALL the resources to collect top ratings from guests (clean new rooms, good location), is spoiling its reputation.

Every review was good, so I made a reservation and stayed for 2 nights. It's a little deeper in the residential area, but there was a signboard and I found it without hesitation. The highlights are within walking distance from Registan Square. There were restaurants and supermarkets and it was a convenient location. The room is clean but the facilities are normal, and when I stayed, the hot water in the shower was almost water on both days. The man who seems to be the owner seemed fluent and kind in English, but basically communication is taken on Whatsapp. Even if I sent a message such as a request from here, the reply was slow and it was a little inconvenient. I booked a night train from Samarkand to Hiva, so I asked for a transfer to the station at midnight. (It is said that transfers to and from the station and airport are free), but even when it was time, the car did not come, and the staff was absent, so I decided to arrange a taxi by myself and move. Even if I sent a message, I was disappointed with the read-through. It may happen that I was talking to other guests at breakfast and having tea in the courtyard. I wonder if I was not welcomed attributely. I think it's good to stay without expecting much.

Ctrip gave the price of hotel reservations to the big oolong, the super big oolong, the price is very outrageous, the rhythm was delayed for nearly 2 hours, the hotel suspected that we were staying in vain without paying, the big oolong of Ctrip , It had a great impact on our trip that day. After returning to China, the compensation was also crooked and crooked. After a long time of tossing, it was like squeezing toothpaste. It took a long time to compensate. I was very dissatisfied with the service of Ctrip. I felt that I could pay less. The kind of accompany less. There was no time to eat the rich breakfast provided by the Samarkand Hotel, and the bus ticket was also abolished. I spent money on Ctrip. The hotel is located in the central city of Samarkand. The location is pretty good. It’s just that there are no hotels in Samarkand that provide lunch and dinner. There are no restaurants around the hotel where you can eat. I asked the locals that they have to go far out. The distance can be realized.

hotel was perfectly located with walking distance to many tourist attractions. The rooms are also good with all amenities. The best part is owner and the entire staff are available round the clock to ensure that their guests are well taken care off. In my case, I lost my luggage during my trip from Bukhara to Samrkand. The owner and his staff went above n beyond and within hours had it delivered to me. Once again I take this moment to thank the entire staff for their efforts. if ever i get an opportunity to visit Samarkand in future, this place is definitely going to be my place to stay.
