If they change the matresses and pillows, and ALL the bedding it could be better, at least liveable.... I was there for several days in which when I got to the room I found the dirty sheets, I requested clean ones, which I changed,,, then I saw the mattress it was more than 20 years old, I know this because it had a written date of about 20 years ago, and maybe it was already used then!!! The blanket was filthy and the bed cover also, I throw them in the floor, I didn't even wanted to touch them... The next day the woman came to ”clean” the room and throw the filthy blanket on top of the clean sheets! so I requested no cleaning service for the rest of my stay, I did my own cleaning, I didn't want this woman to move my clean sheets and throw the filthy blanket on the bed again! But now the positive finds, it has great location in downtown and parking included is next door. The front desk staff is very helpful.

We had booked this hotel for a weekend in Saltillo, which was about right. I wouldn't want to stay here for an extended period of time though. The private parking might or might not be safe, since it has open access to the street, but is a plus compared to having to leave you car out in the street. The hotel is old and looks it. The room, although sufficiently comfortable, was rather dilapidated. The first thing we noticed were ugly brown water stains around the door and from the airco switch, which might be hazardous for one's health. It didn't put our minds at ease that at the top floor above was a swimming pool. After checking it out we noticed it wasn't right above us so that was not the source of the stains.. phewww. Also on the top floor is a space for a restaurant which would be a great venue for a dinner with a night time view of the city but it's only opened for larger groups. Another missed opportunity for the management. When I went up to see if I could take some photos nonetheless some young men were cleaning broken glass from a window that had been broken while they mentioned the door had been forced. Makes one wonder about the security of the place. The service is friendly and they reacted immediately when I went to report a mob of teenagers who had come from the pool, yelling and screaming in the hallways and banging on the door of our room, which was rather unsettling for my wife. All in all a fairly good place for a short stay. Plusses: very near the historic centre and the interesting locations, economic. Cons: old, cheap, somewhat run down, no facilities such as restaurant or breakfast service.

We traveled to Saltillo celebrate our niece's birthday & visit the mother in law & other family--Parque Centro is so nice, safe, & convenient--we knew this is where we wanted to be. (Last time we stayed in the Hampton & were scared the whole time we'd get robbed) Courtyard did not disappoint! We were in 1015, & enjoyed the view of the area, the food was wonderful--I was a bit disappointed there were no snacks in the market, but WalMart was only a few steps away! The staff was kind & helpful, especially Alex in the bistro.

GGuest UserI have traveled throughout the Republic especially in the north, all year long, always hosting Fiesta Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels of which I have nothing wrong to say but the opposite. The Fiesta Inn in Monterrey and Puebla maintains the Posadas Group quality standards but the Saltillo should close in what they end up remodelling: dirty areas, no-trained staff, discomfort and bad service are their characteristics. There are no common clean or comfortable areas , the room is fine but the service is fatal , there is one to persecute, literally, someone to be cared especially in the adaptation they made of restaurant, I think they should close better and open when they are ready. Fortunately he returned to October, if this continues, I will look for another option even if I have to ask my company because it's them who reserve us.
GGuest UserOn August 15, I hosted with the intention of staying 28 days, but withdraws me on day 1 for several reasons. First I was assigned room 36, with a disgusting smell of the old tape that has, I asked for a change to a without tape, I changed to the 40, which was not used to control to enable and switch off the TV screen, pay the first night when you arrive and apply for a price with included breakfast, which is bad, on the bill I have been broken down with accommodation and food with separate costs, although you have requested breakfast included in the concept of HOSPEDAGES. They refused to change the bill, I had to stay the second night because I was late for being complaining, they asked me to pay from 8 a.m. on day 16 or at 12 would take my baggage out of the room. According to hotel policies, Obvious for the evening had already decided a new hostel in the centre of Saltillo with excellent price, new rooms and mostly a friendly staff. Attention, and you care to keep your customers, I am in Saltillo with 4 fellows and we have already covered 15 days each at the Colonial Hotel San Miguel, 60 paid nights that could be part of Capital O Saltillo reservations.
